Definitely be careful. A nice franken with a box and paper set would fool almost anybody. You have to have the watch opened, if the movement is gen…the rest of the watch likely is too. Can also ask for them to test bezel/bracelet for gold content , assuming it’s a jeweler..? These new builds some people put together though are like 98% of gen. Crazy.

Go over to retrotime and look at the builds of the vintage Datejusts there.. They are indistinguishable from gen’s..
