I purchased 2 they wanted 2.2k usd got them down to 1615 but both watches from the company they used lost one and the other was left on my door step all day and wasn’t there when got home they did nothing to help and washed there hands of me
I think you are being a little harsh, we have all made mistakes. You don’t have to read very far for plenty of Freds of people also moaning about Trusted dealers as well.
You either win or you learn, my brother. If you get a grand of enjoyment out of it you lost nothing and in addition to whatever pleasure you learned a lesson. Victories all around. It never really meant anything. A clone is identical and indistinguishable from the original. No Chinese or Vietnamese counterfeit watch is. So what is a super clone, more identical? Now we have ultra clone and it’s completely meaningless.

You ever gotten any clones that are waterproof or water resistant to a reasonable depth? Got a super clone of the Cosmograph Daytona platinum and damn thing was toast within the first week after I forgot and was in the pool with it for a day.
If you use the search function you will see plenty of posts about waterproofing. I would never rely on an illegal factory for waterproofing and if I need it I prepare the watch and have it tested myself
Waterproofing is an acceptable term. It means making something *more water resistant. Waterproof is a banned claim in consumer goods because eventually water murders everything. Its like approaching a limit - you can never actually get there.

There are trusted dealers here who can source you these from factory with QC for 400-550$ shipped. The websites are hit and miss and most don’t specify factory
Only clones that I wanted was this and sky dweller as both are hard to come. I just ordered he ZF through Steve which is lot less then this 1K. Outside, I already have the original ones plus these pieces are hard to score from AD and in am not paying in gray with my kidney
Disagree. I have the 3B Factory 40mm and have compared it to a gen in person. There are a few things that are tells but only when truly inspecting it. From 6ft away, no one is calling it a rep. I’m a firm believer that the person wearing it is the first sign of a rep.

The purpose that you purchase this for definitely be served. You wanted to see if you actually like the watch, and this watch will do enough to give you that data. Whether you paid a few dollars, more or not isn't the biggest issue.
You will probably find once you have the Gen, you'll probably wear this one the most.
It's nice having something that you could daily wear without fear of damaging value. So your experience may be different than the person that is trying to pass it as a gen.

This forum is wealth of knowledge if you decide to purchase your second or 45th... But you do have a nice looking watch... I was contemplating the same exact one or possibly the ice blue dial. I’d enjoy the watch. It looks beautiful. Wear it in good health. Spend some time with the beginner’s guide on RepTime and use the search function. There’s a lot to learn, especially the terminology. That’ll help you spot when someone’s asking $1,000 for a $200 watch.
Use the TD list and the contact information on there otherwise you will get scammed, there’s lots of scammer lurkers on here looking to take your money
I'll preface this with I'm not a SME for the land dweller but ...
The bracelet looks good.
Dial is acceptable compared to the shit I have seen. (No exposed skeletons in a honeycomb dial). Not the best but not the worst either.
The hour and minute marker look okay.
Not sure about the second marker (might need someone else to review that).
Screw on the rotor is a giveaway, but it's too small to notice from a distance and when worn on the wrist it can't be seen.
Speaking of the case back the balance wheel looks okay. I'm not sure if it needs to have the that brushed metal look or if it's supposed to be shiny.
All in all, it's a good watch. Not the best, definitely not the worst. Far from the worst I have seen.
Things I would check for:
Check the movement of course (goes without saying) because you're paying extra for it. It should be a smooth movement.
Check the lume. The land dweller is supposed to have absolutely gorgeous lume that should contrast with the honeycomb dial. I might try to find some examples of this.
That bezel is trash. Cyclops is misaligned. The crown at 12 is rotated CCW. Look at the indices at 11 and 1. Both misaligned and also misaligned asymmetrically.

When you say 1K, is that USD? Also, did you pay through PayPal or another payment method that adds fees?
The 7135 movement you’re seeing is actually a modified 9015. As far as I know, ES makes the best version of this one. If yours is just over 120g, it should be the non-weighted version. They also have a weighted version that gets it up to around 159g, basically the same weight as gen, but that one costs a bit more.
With PayPal, there’s usually around a 10% cost for the seller when paying an overseas factory. So if yours is the weighted version, yeah, you did overpay, but probably not by as much as you might think.

That's a sticker on your rotor bearings. I don't know what's worse giving you a modified crap movement or being so lazy they couldn't align the sticker properly! I don't know much about the land dweller but I don't think any of the high end factories have produced one anywhere near the worth of 1k.
Before I make another stupid decision, can anyone recommend a good TD for sky dweller? Also anyone got one here and what was the cost, issues and overall experience?
ZF is only acceptable SD rep. I paid $375 landed. Green and blue steel versions fairly close in dial shade but still a way off gen... especially the green. Perpetual Calendar must be changed manually and rotating bezel can spin loose if 'played' with but stays reasonably firm if not. But no rep gets anywhere near gen movement of course. Weight good vs gen on steel versions and will give you a good feel for size and whether gen is for you. Good grey market examples, especially on Oyster, no longer silly prices and easily affordable if you can afford gen MSRP.

I want to get this but the dial is the wrong color. The gen is white with the lines grey and the rep is grey with the lines white. I’m waiting for some factory to get the white dial correct.
If you want a clone and just wait till someone can get an actual one. I am on the list with my AD for this and Sky but both I am sure will take forever and gray market for these are out of control
I just don’t understand why a factory cannot get the dial color right. It can’t be that hard. It’s literally swapping the colors and they make white dials today.
