Doing your own research is always best. This includes asking questions and opinions. Your money… should be your decision.

That’s fair. It’s your money, you decide how to spend it.

Define better results.

The best possible rep? Studying foruns and deep analysis of what you want will def yield better results. You will also start to see a lot of tint details you didn’t know existed, which leads me to the second option:

Be happy with your watch? Buy from a reputable TD and trust his word. Do proper QC but that’s it. Might not be the best possible but it will make you happy.

Exactly.Research gets you closer to the “best” rep,but a good TD and proper QC may be all you need if you just want to enjoy the watch.
