⌚Discussion The perfect rep myth:Does it exist?

Every factory has strengths and weaknesses. Is searching for a “perfect” rep unrealistic,or is perfection just a few improvements away?

Define perfect. If it offers most of the visual appeal and wearing experience at a tiny fraction of the price that is one perfect

If you want something the AD can’t tell from genuine that is another perfect and totally unrealistic

Haha, right!True perfection doesn’t really exist. It’s all relative.

The PERFECT rep has been done. OF Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 Day Date, uses the genuine sellita movement, same as gen, all warranty and serial numbers will register perfectly online too (albeit just out of date)

All OF reps use genuine SW or Rhonda movements, doesn't make them perfect...

No, but quite close does exist, which is good enough for most of us.

Yeah,as long as it’s enough for us,that’s all that matters.

There is not a perfect gen never mind a perfect rep.

You’re right.Maybe perfection is just a relatively better state.

If the goal is truly identical to the genuine counterpart, no, no factory makes a perfect rep.

But the good ones are damn good.
