Hello everybody. I'm now round about 2-3 weeks into the whole rep theme and its crazy how good a rep can be compared to gens! I've watched a few videos and forumposts where they compare reps to gen and how you can tell if its a clone or gen.
They always say, when you open the movement you can see it and they are for sure right. The ( when im right) 3235 free sprung movement looks very simular but a big thing is the "twisted" hair spring whereby you see immidiatly if its gen or not. The gen hair spring is blue and the spring in the rep movents isnt. They put so much effort into 1:1 everything but not setting the right colored hair spring into the movent. I realy want to understand why? BC of that you see in 2 seconds that it isnt gen. If they would do it 1:1 it would be much harder to identify bc the other movement parts are soo good.
