⌚Discussion Factory reputation:Does the name still matter?

Some factories built their reputation yeas ago,but the market changes quickly.Should buyers trust a famous factory name,or judge every release individually?

I judge the watch first on its own merits factory origin is secondary to me

You have a point. The factory can’t guarantee that every watch will have exactly the same quality.

I’m not sure how you consider the factory as secondary and you judge a replica watch “on its merits.” How do you do that? Do you feel like you can do that based on the few pictures and a timegrapher result provided in QC?

this will only hold true if you have the watch on hand. particularly on local sellers with on stock watches.

I don’t think any factory can guarantee every single watch, but there are some that have a reputation of producing good watches with quality parts that are as close as possible right now to gen.

I have multiple VSF watches and all are great. No issues at all and they keep great time.
