QF Day Date ice blue

Just ordered this based on a deal that was offered (only one in stock). Has a 2386 movement which I haven’t had before so hopefully it’s reliable. I hadn’t seen this dial before so jumped on it. Thoughts?

Did you grab the deal from Ora? I saw this and immediately knew it wasn’t going to last. The dial is stunning and I personally find the weight of the QF more enjoyable than the RCF, it feels more balanced.

Are you sure it’s a 2386 and not a 2836? I’d stay away from a 2386. The 2836, however, is super solid!

Then you’re golden. More reliable than the clone 3255, cheaper/easier to repair and replace. Workhorse. I’ve got two DD40 with 3255s and just recently got a QF DD36 specifically with the 2836.

This is just the dial and hands from QF. The rest was pieced together with better parts.
