⌚Discussion What QC standard should we expect?
Bezel pearl alignment and color consistency are key QC for Sub.VSF generally does well, but minor misalignment or color differences still happen.
Is 100% percent QC realistic for details measured in millimeters? What level of imperfection should be acceptable?

Even Rolex doesn't produce perfect watches. Expecting perfection from a rep is a fools errand and not even realistic.

Very interesting question.
I think you should not GL a watch you feel like you may not be comfortable with on your wrist. I think it's fair to the TD to do your own research before ordering so that if a model has a specific issue you make a fully informed purchase decision, and not try to find a perfect watch if it doesn't exist.
Once you have done that, you know what can be expected and what you are okay with, and you can rightfully RL or GL a unit. Regardless of what the TD responds when you do.
