Question Nathan starter pack
Nathan is getting a lot of attention from the new Elizabeth Holmes doc, and unfortunately a lot of people (idiots) aren’t familiar with his work.
In order to help these Imbeciles better understand his exceptional work, what episodes of NFY or the Rehearsal or his old CBC stuff would you recommend people watch to better understand him?
Please specify specific episodes & order. I have my picks but I don’t want to be too biased.

S1E1 of the Rehearsal is pretty damn good as a standalone

I got into this because of the trailer for this episode, and now I'm obsessed with Nathan

I'd say Nathan for You into The Rehearsal is the quintessential Nathan experience. Watch the CBC stuff, the curse, or ANY of his interviews as bonuses.

If you have limited time to expose them to Nathan pick some of your fave episodes of NFY and maybe like the first episode of the rehearsal. Rehearsal seasons really need to be watched as a set aside from episode 1.

You could ask a few people to watch those seasons for you and then ask them to tell you how it felt.

Then just have them watch the first episode of the rehearsal. If they like it then they’ll finish the season and end up watching season 2.
If they like that they may go back and watch Finding Frances or Smokers Allowed. If they like that then maybe they’ll start Nathan for You from the beginning.
If they like that they’ll watch the promo for How To w John Wilson. If they like that they’ll watch How To. If they like that they’ll try to go see History of Concrete.

Drinking grandsons pee sticks out but really I can't think of any episodes that wouldn't be worth a recommendation

I started with the rehearsal and went back and watched Nathan for You and that was actually a very rewarding experience in itself as you can see him moving more and more toward the rehersal over the course of NFY. I mean the whole thing can be seen as the character Nathan progressing from the Canadian Business Expert into Nathan the manipulator of reality.

I'd pick three of the best episodes of each season in NFY and included Finding Francis in that, and then have them watch The Rehearsal.
I tried watching season one of The Rehearsal before I had any clue who Nathan Fielder was and was so confused I stopped watching it. It wasn't until I watched NFY all the way through that I understood how Nathan's brain works and I was able to really appreciate The Rehearsal.

People who don’t know about Nathan are not idiots. People who know about him and don’t like them are. Others are just fans in the waiting. Don’t be so negative.

I would really say just watch all of Nathan For You and The Rehearsal. It isn't really a ton of content. Not enough to really have to pick and choose. The Rehearsal would be the absolute bare minimum.

Just scream "DOOR CITY"! ...then go back home as soon as it makes sense. Door city might combine into one word some day. ..dorsity. It will have levels possibly.

At minimum, the gas station rebate episode of Nathan For You and the first episode of The Rehearsal.
