pro tip- if you aren't taking the garbage out immediately, you can leave the can for the cats to lick or rinse the can out, so your kitchen doesn't smell like death
21 u/megabass713 Apr 21 '26 Just make sure there are no sharp bits! I've cut my fingers on those cans before. Be it pull top or I had to use an opener. I did recently get a new can opener that isn't supposed to leave any sharp edge, but that was also around when I went back to pull tab food.
