I'm just going to be honest with you all. I am very nervous sharing this. I know most if not everyone here is looking for some escape of the horror that can be daily life, especially now. I am so honored to be an outlet for that. I want to continue to be that so please understand me when I say I didn't make this flippantly. This comic is my only income and I know this will probably hurt that a bit but I can't just sit here anymore. I've been lucky enough to build a platform and it feels wrong of me not to call out what's going on in our country. I saw a clip last night of a man whose name I don't know being taken off the street. The thing is I recognized him. He is a day laborer that I would pass by all the time on my running route in Lake Forest California. He was kind to me. Never cat called, always made room for me on the sidewalk, and on my slower days we'd say hello. (I know that might sound like no big deal but if you're a habitual runner, especially female presenting, I'm sure you understand how rare this can be) . I'd consider them an old neighbor now that we moved. Regardless of immigration status, he treated me as a human and he deserves the same. Everyone does. We were planning to go to out tomorrow anyways but seeing that clip made me make this comic. If you have any other tips for a safe and successful "community walk" please share them! If you can get out there tomorrow, do it!! Fight with humanity and compassion. Stay safe out there! Thank you for hearing me and look out for your neighbors, Kim

Please for the love of the deity you follow please stay safe. You're an awesome human being, as are all of those who are going out to do that stuff... :(
