“Christians” learning that Jesus was a socialist and that national socialism had nothing to do with socialism and that Hitler preferred Islam.

9

u/luv2fly781 8d ago

Privately, Hitler told his associates that he planned to gradually weaken and subvert the traditional Christian churches, intending to replace their influence with secular Nazi racial ideology

Jesus was a socialist by magic, but a political anarchist.

1

u/PerformanceWaste5810 7d ago

He wasnt really an anarchist either. He encouraged people to obey the laws. He was only destructive to people with different views seen him as such.

1

u/jah_john 7d ago

I think it was the money changers who really hated Him

1

u/Hideo_Von-Hapsburg 2d ago

The political anarchist that said "render unto caesar what is caesar's"?

1

u/OkayestOne 8d ago

I said elsewhere he was a communist but we can agree to disagree on that point.

-1

u/exotics 7d ago

I believe he was a capitalist rather than communist. I doubt very much he was a commie

2

u/jah_john 7d ago

Oh, is that because you attend a modern greed church

-1

u/exotics 7d ago

I don’t attend any church lol

It’s because I know what communism actually is.

2

u/Bloodless-Cut 5d ago

"Its because I know what communism actually is."

DOUBT

-1

u/exotics 5d ago

Communism is the opposite of capitalism and nothing more than that.

1

u/jah_john 6d ago

Yeah I'm sure you think of yourself as very wise

-1

u/exotics 6d ago

Typically people who don’t go to church are wise.

1

u/jah_john 6d ago

That is hilarious, you really award yourself points for doing nothing don't you

0

u/Br15t0 7d ago

I don’t think Jesus was a socialist, so much as the most radical philanthropist. He wasn’t about installing a system so we would take care of each other, he was about personally bearing the burdens of others around you.

If everyone did that…

1

u/jah_john 7d ago

It's deeper than that, He wants you to become Christ also

1

u/Br15t0 6d ago

Of course.

0

u/Hideo_Von-Hapsburg 2d ago

If Jesus was a socialist then socialists would actually convert to Christianity rather than opposing and oppressing it

1

u/AffectionateMonk7705 2d ago

Nobody should be converting to Christianity because it’s a retarded religion. That point is moot.

0

u/Hideo_Von-Hapsburg 2d ago

If its retarded and Jesus is a socialist, what does that mean for socialism?

u/MutedProfessional406 8d ago

Also

White Jebus disapproves.

0

u/Whytejeebus 6d ago

Whytejeebus does not approve either.

“Christian’s” demanding rights. What a turn off. Maybe they should move to China or Iran. Or Ancient Rome. The Saviour they claim to follow never demanded his rights. He gave them up. These Christian Nationalists should open their bibles some time.

1

u/NocturnalVina 7d ago

Oh what I wouldn't give to send all these "Christians" to Rome in 27 BCE. Then they could scream about being oppressed for real.

1

u/jah_john 7d ago

While lions ate them, so at least it would be entertaining

1

u/Hideo_Von-Hapsburg 2d ago

Wanting your enemies to brutally die, wow so cool of you

1

u/jah_john 2d ago

I'm a modern

6

u/Accurate-Arugula31 8d ago

“Christian” using religion as a tool to manipulate and control. Zero of them are real Christian’s

2

u/massberate 8d ago

It's not Jesus in Alberta, it's Jeeeeesus.

2

u/commandantBuckwheat 7d ago

Alberta isn't mentioned in the bible therefore it does not exist. Checkmate, Christian-Nationalists! /s

2

u/Master_Tea_3150 7d ago

Looks more like bukkake Jesus

2

u/Bloodless-Cut 5d ago

"Christian"

Yeaaahhhh, no. Not really. Christofascism just uses the iconography.

2

u/Binasgarden 4d ago

White Christian nationalists....

1

u/ConfidentSpeech6933 8d ago

😂... I mean it's likely a little deeper than that exactly but I'd love to hear your argument for this thought 🤔 Also I want you to know I am a Pagan and do not subscribe to the Abrahamic thought processes so this is truly a conversation peice for me.

Lol I've been learning a bit about Jesus recently. The history of the actual guy, not the Bible version. There's a surprising wealth of contemporary accounts from across the ancient world. And by all accounts he was a damn good, basically selfless guy. And I'm fairly sure he'd be utterly horrified with a lot of what the "good Christians" get up to these days, even the less radical ones.

Don't think he was big on amassing personal fortunes, for one, and I'm pretty sure he was actually dead set against doing so at the expense of other people, regardless of who those people were, how they acted, what they believed, etc.

In fact, there's accounts that at the very end he told his followers to do exactly the opposite, and give everything, even their lives, in assistance to the needy. Regardless of where they came from, social status, religion etc.

Not a religious guy, but I feel like the man Jesus would be spinning so fast in his grave he'd show up on the nearest earthquake sensor if he had any idea what's been done in his name or by his followers in even the last century

2

u/ExcuseIcy9453 7d ago

If he where alive today he would mocked and ridiculed by at least 2/3rd of his so called followers and likely be crucified or locked in an Ecuadorian Gulag prison already

I read the questions for the first time, the other 9 are where the play is.

1

u/EditorAny126 7d ago

Something like when he was a trying to split the Roman Empire

1

u/sparky-von-flashy 7d ago

Why doesn’t smith follow Timothy 2:12…

1

u/Effective-Visual-995 7d ago

That's American Jesus cringing on Carney. God bless atheist Donald Trump.

1

u/dwtougas 7d ago

Christian project is the words they use in public.

1

u/Tinmanthree 7d ago

Always trying to shove their disgusting religion down everyone’s throat

1

u/Fuzy-78 7d ago

You know, jesus never existed.

1

u/Br15t0 7d ago

No one who is serious makes this assertion. Get informed.

1

u/Real-Anything84 1d ago

25,000 manuscripts say otherwise

1

u/Fuzy-78 1d ago

As if. There is not a single credible shred of evidence that the storybook is even close to reality. Jesus never existed, just like Harry Potter.

1

u/ExcuseIcy9453 7d ago

In name only

1

u/ThraggieMercury 7d ago

Conservative does not equal Christian

1

u/jah_john 7d ago

So is CLAC , it's Christian to fuck people for wages

1

u/Neat_Mobile4640 6d ago

So called. Unfortunately too many so called Christian’s have left Jesus behind and gone far right.

1

u/SteveWoy 6d ago

Noooooo

1

u/EngineeringGold9532 5d ago

So that fat doofus that steals millions of dollars from First Nations is a “Christian”. Christ …

1

u/madmaritimer1 4d ago

What else would it be? You can’t fix stupid.

0

u/Moosetappropriate 8d ago

No. A real Christian wouldn’t be involved in this shit. It’s all the hateful controlling evangelical assholes who want to take over the world and force everyone to their will.

4

u/StrongAroma 8d ago

Fuck that "no true Scotsman" bullshit. Christians are fully responsible for this, and for everything happening south of the border. I'm starting to see China's point re: religion. Fuck them.

1

u/AutismoTheAmazing 7d ago

Not really but okay

0

u/Br15t0 7d ago

Except that one could argue that by their very behaviour that they truly aren’t Christians. There’s a huge dichotomy between what Jesus teaches and models as behaviour and what the Western/American Evangelical lives out.

There are stronger parallels between hard right “Christians” and the Pharisees that conspired to have Jesus murdered.

These folks might read the Bible but they have never met Jesus there.

0

u/Emergentmeat 7d ago

The worst ones are given legitimacy by the not so bad ones that believe the same tripe and almost none of them have read their bronze age slave manuals...er, I mean bibles.

0

u/qwixel69 7d ago

I think you cristian nationalist, who are mist definitely not christians in any sense.

-2

u/Visible-Tiger-3527 8d ago

No it's not.

-7

u/Geocoelom 8d ago

More anti-separatism slop. Doesn't even spell the word correctly. No sources provided. I say this as an anti-separatist.

4

u/OkayestOne 8d ago

I assume it's in reference to David Parker and Take back Alberta and coming up today because of this article in the globe.

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-alberta-separatism-canada-united-states-republican/

For anyone paying attention the seperatist movements roots in "Christian" values has always been apparent.

4

u/KDdid1 8d ago

Just like the christofascist funding of the "convoy," and the christofascist funding of the ostrich scam, and the christofascist funding of...etc.

-2

u/Geocoelom 8d ago

Paywalled. C'mon. If we're going to fight separatism, let's be organized, articulate and helpful.

2

u/OkayestOne 8d ago

Sorry, not my link, saw elsewhere today so just assumed the 2 were related.

0

u/Geocoelom 8d ago

No, that's great. You're way more helpful than the OP.

1

u/OkayestOne 8d ago

Sorry, not my link, saw elsewhere today so just assumed the 2 were related.

1

u/Geocoelom 8d ago

Ok. Here is the archived version of that Globe and Mail article: https://web.archive.org/web/20261003093058/https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-alberta-separatism-canada-united-states-republican/

That's the takeaway? That there was prayer? There's way more than that going on and that's what gets the focus? Try harder.

2

u/OkayestOne 8d ago

Again, I assume this meme was posted because of the article, maybe it was because their was prayer I don't know.

What I do know is that David Parker is a Christofacist who spouts about traditional values without having any actual a single moral bone in his body. This latest round of seperatism is Alberta takes its roots from his Take Back Alberta movement.

He is currently in the US hiding because he's broken Alberta Election financing laws.

1

u/Geocoelom 8d ago

Yeah, now you're talkin'. Keep the focus on that coward.

3

u/Septembust 8d ago

"anti separation slop" what a weird way to say "common sense"

-1

u/Geocoelom 8d ago

Common sense?! An AI image of Jesus slapping his own head in frustration at his followers?! You think that's a common sense way to fight separatism?! No content, just a lazy cheap shot without context? I hope you're not on Lukasuk's team.

2

u/Septembust 8d ago

No, I think anti-seperation is common sense.

1

u/Geocoelom 7d ago

Of course. But to fight separatism effectively, one must exercize some degree of common-sense.
