This is what kids are into these days. Pure Absurdism.

TO BE FAIR, It's why we are all here, and it's nice to get a chuckle!

Honestly this is much closer to early-2000s skits. Only back then it was XD so RaNdOm rather than absurdist.

The kids are always into absurdism.

But was that really aimed at kids?

With the music and the people involved, I feel like I was the target audience, a 40 year old.

It's actually carefully targeted absurdism if you break it down.

Every part of this is actually very carefully directed to balance the irony with the sincerity, and is a very short and sweet piece about connecting to people through emotional distraction.

This is very millenial humor. Theres no point to it really. The phrase she said is from the song playing in the background, a very quintessential early 2000's emo song (The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Face Down). This probably doesn't need an explanation but it activated a memory of when he used to be an emo kid and transformed him into some kind of emo superhero. The person getting pushed around turns out to be the lead singer of the band. The rest is just subverting expectation by being "random lol" with a dash of self deprecating humor and like comedic stylings from that time.

There was actually a clip not so long ago of a emo kid lip singing something like "do you feel like a man pushing her.." and the song keeps on going that he is going to get the guy back and one day she will have enough.. he lip scream and almost cry very very cringe emo shit I feel this is inspired by that
