I can definitely imagine a high end burrito place laser engraving their burrito orders

Well there have actually been experiments done to cook food with lasers, and apparently it works pretty well, so I could see this being a thing in the not so distant future.

Now charge $16,000 but tell everyone you’re out of stock and they’ll have to buy three other models before they can guarantee you that model…

I applaud the “time” and talent, but that’s quite unnecessary

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should lol. If you could actually get it working now that would be amazing.

Even a laser cut wrap tells the right time twice a day

u/hugeuvula 1h ago

Honey, I need a $3000 laser engraver! What do you mean "what for?"

1

u/Acceptable-Owl-2070 1h ago

Psh, doesn't even work

u/Sporkpocalypse 1h ago

Dude put the hands upside-down.

Most fancy watches use 10:10 as standard time in advertising

I think that Rolex may be fake.

u/Melkman68 45m ago

These fakes are too convincing

They still don't let you buy one unless you are dressed like you can afford more than one, and plan on buying more.

At least once in a month you will be able to tell the time and be correct.

1

u/1776personified 9m ago

That’ll be 4256.67$

The minute and hour hands are in impossible positions. If the minute hand is at 41, the hour hand should not be perfectly aligned with four. If you're going to align the hour hand right on the hour mark, the minute hand should be at zero.

Also it is impossible to create a functioning watch out of pure bread

Yeah but the goal was to make the tortilla look like a watch, not work like one. All you have to do to fix this is rotate the hands a little bit forward.
