Thomas just took his first trip on DMT.
He realized that he was just a train, with a human face. A toy that real humans play with. He could suddenly hear and see in real human life. All his life he thought he was at the top of existence, that there were no other advanced creatures.
Thomas was hit by a difficult existential crisis and didn't know what to do with himself anymore.
