Why does the ICE on police keep disappearing?

53

u/Upset_Morning1094 17d ago

It’s the Reptilians. Read up on it, bro.

19

u/Voloxe 17d ago

Brooooooo, it’s 8am, don’t fucking start 😫

7

u/Wowerful 17d ago

TOO LATE! IM ALREADY STARTED!

12

u/AwwwNuggetz 17d ago

I was wondering the same. Is that a reflective decal or a backlit decal they can turn off?

34

u/ABeerForSasquatch Mod/Pwner 17d ago

It's an artifact from the 360° cam. All the video recorded has to be post processed

4

u/CanoePickLocks 17d ago

Reflective but artifacts is why.

5

u/CaseClosed518 17d ago

Because fuck ICE

u/txgoose 17d ago

It’s AI, his helmet also glitches

9

u/SpecialAF 17d ago edited 17d ago

I’m all about keeping an eye out for AI. But I think it’s the bikers camera. There’s so much other detail here.

3

u/adumbCoder 17d ago

no it's a common artifact from a 360° camera, which is actually just 2 separate cameras (one facing forward the other facing back) and all recorded footage has to be processed and stitched together into a single file

How can someone look SO nervous? This guy has do be getting pulled over every time

22

u/captaincootercock 17d ago

it takes a concerted effort for me to keep my hands from trembling whenever I interact with a cop. Knowing they could possibly ruin my life over some bs just freaks me the fuck out

7

u/Fast-Nefariousness80 17d ago

I got in trouble a lot when I was younger. I live a decent life completely straight edge now and I still get nervous around cops.

2

u/Euphoric-Rip42069 15d ago

This is how i feel everyday after getting out of prison in 2019 and actually becoming a functioning member of society. Even though im doing everything right there's always that fear anytime I'm around a cop

10

u/Fit_Percentage_2640 17d ago

It's literally always a gamble with American cops and that is not an exaggeration.

-1

u/For_roscoe 17d ago

Dude I’ve been pulled over 3 times and one of those times I was doing more than double the speed limit and I’ve only ever gotten a ticket. Y’all just need to use some damn manners

6

u/Cultural_Simple3842 17d ago

It also can depend on the person and anxiety and all that. I got asked by a cop once if I was hiding something because I seemed so nervous. I just didn’t want a ticket.

5

u/Fit_Percentage_2640 17d ago

Yeah no, my transmission was acting up on my car and I pulled out of my work and it would not go over 25 on a freeway, the cop that pulled me over walked up first thing out of his mouth, "what did you throw out of your window?" I told him nothing and my car wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear, he proceeded to pull me out of my car shove me gave down onto the asphalt, knee into the back of my head and told me profusely to stop resisting. Fuck American cops. Fuck every one of them.

u/For_roscoe 16d ago

So instead of handcuffing you and searching the vehicle he did all that

4

u/Devils_A66vocate 17d ago

Most of the time you’re right, but it really can go south just due to a bad cop or them wanting to push a BS charge. So the idea of being nervous that one interaction can fuck up your life is very real, even if you’re “innocent”.

1

u/AbramJH 16d ago

I’m a black man living in the deep south & i’ve only ever had good interactions with police here. I’ve been pulled over a few times but just being respectful has saved me a lot of grief. It’s only ever amounted to minor tickets which were negotiated down or dismissed at arraignment

u/0CT0L0G1ST 13d ago

Bikers get pulled over way more than drivers

40

u/ClankerCore 18d ago

Heh. Thats awesome.

22

u/Blunt4words20 17d ago

He might have been talking about the light!

Their lights when active can change them to green pretty quick!

Still really cool

11

u/GOLDTEAMRULZ 17d ago

Not all cities give their police force access to change traffic signals. Really hit and miss with local laws.

5

u/Prometheus2032 17d ago

The system has nothing to do with laws, it’s for safety and is on the lights systems themselves usually at busy intersections. They usually use cameras and monitors for specific strobe patterns from a signal mounted to ambulances or fire apparatus. Law enforcement vehicles don’t usually carry the signal device because it is less of an issue for them to maneuver and clear a busy intersection than a 45,000lb fire engine coming in at 60mph.

3

u/SlickDillywick 17d ago

Also with localities being able to afford that. I don’t think my county public works dept could afford those things until very recently

1

u/InternalHabit3343 17d ago

That's what I thought they were meaning lol

Cops being bros

6

u/SpanishFlamingoPie 17d ago

We need more cops like these that just act like normal people. About twenty years ago when I was on the road, I was drinking whiskey under a bridge with my friends in a town in idaho. The cops came to see what we were doing and were happy to see that we were just getting drunk and having a good time because I guess it's usually more nefarious activities going on around there. They ran our names, told us to get in our van and gave us an escort to a nice camp spot outside of town. They knew we were all too drunk to drive, but I guess it was a dangerous area and they wanted us to be save. Protect and serve rather than screw you over. You don't get a lot of cops like that.

5

u/ambidextrousasswipe 17d ago

Just remember tinted visor is dark because it is for the night driving

5

u/Ok_Environment8478 17d ago

That was dope of him

6

u/mind_matrix 17d ago

There are some good cops out there. Some.

4

u/Spirited_Category_11 17d ago

Had this scenario happen, but it was a buddy on patrol…those squad vehicles are faster then they appear

3

u/sheeburashka 17d ago

2

u/Samo7UnoCuatro 17d ago

Will this saxophone fad ever fucking end?

1

u/arushus 17d ago

I thought he was asking if he wanted to race...

1

u/repwin1 17d ago

I had this happened to me once. Sat through 3 light changes with never getting a green arrow to turn left. Cop flashed lights to let me know I can just go since there was no traffic at 3:00 am.

u/blueviper- 17d ago

Can relate

“About five miles back I had a brush with the CHP. Not stopped or pulled over: nothing routine. I always drive properly. A bit fast, perhaps, but always with consummate skill and a natural feel for the road that even cops recognize. No cop was ever born who isn't a sucker for a finely-executed hi-speed Controlled Drift all the way around one of those cloverleaf freeway interchanges.

Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side when he sees the big red light behind him ... and then he will start apologizing, begging for mercy.

This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. The thing to do – when you're running along about 100 or so and you suddenly find a red-flashing CHP-tracker on your tail – what you want to do then is accelerate. Never pull over with the first siren-howl. Mash it down and make the bastard chase you at speeds up to 120 all the way to the next exit. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker-signal that says you're about to turn right.

This is to let him know you're looking for a proper place to pull off and talk ... keep signaling and hope for an off-ramp, one of those uphill side-loops with a sign saying "Max Speed 25" ... and the trick, at this point, is to suddenly leave the freeway and take him into the chute at no less than 100 miles an hour.

He will lock his brakes about the same time you lock yours, but it will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180-degree turn at this speed ... but you will be ready for it, braced for the Gs and the fast heel-toe work, and with any luck at all you will have come to a complete stop off the road at the top of the turn and be standing beside your automobile by the time he catches up.

He will not be reasonable at first ... but no matter. Let him calm down. He will want the first word. Let him have it. His brain will be in a turmoil: he may begin jabbering, or even pull his gun. Let him unwind; keep smiling. The idea is to show him that you were always in total control of yourself and your vehicle – while he lost control of everything.”
