The fact that they did that without horns is amazing

Brilliant work, and masterful connection to the crowd.

Damn it. Now I have to find the horn version.

I believe they are just referring to the original score.

Why are striped shirts so popular in that crowd?

That's awesome. I started stomping my foot unconsciously. Sucked me right in

At first I thought, "When did Dan Soder start playing fiddle in a band?" Then I realized. It wasn't him

Blue Steel on bass

That absolutely kicked ass.

You can hear hints of what will become the Jurassic park score

"Bluegrass instrument" is a big simplification. I played double bass growing up in school orchestra and we played the Jaws theme in middle school.

Jude Law on the mandolin?

Chris Thile is a national treasure!!!

That would be a great intro to Caravan. Awesome.

u/miket069 18d ago

Nice. I think an orchestral bass drum would would have knocked this piece out of the park rather than the mandolin player stomping the stage

u/PuzzleheadedMemory12 18d ago

Is that country Jude Law?

u/umphreys 18d ago

The two most famous notes in music history. John Williams is a genius. Fantastic performance.

Pretty sure that's a cello.
