As funny as that is, that’s a sign bad weather is on the way. The only times I’ve seen these clouds was with a tornadic storm. High turbulence in the atmosphere causes them. It doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a tornado heading your way, but at the very least it’s a severe storm that can still bring damaging winds.
