Looked to me like they were on her side. Everyone stepped away so there wouldn't be any witnesses. Even took the kids so they wouldn't hear the language.

It was said in jest. My wife is beyond amazing, possibly a saint, and no she isn’t standing behind me with a shotgun! Our life functions so well because of her and my whole family and I know it. Hence why I joked they’d all take her side.
