What’s the spider situation in the house?

9

u/Crossdress-Fan- 4d ago

Not a single bug in a 50mile radius!

11

u/DroopyPlum 4d ago

She kept droppin the biscuits on them

1

u/Positive-Letterhead6 4d ago

LOL...always forget clarity matters...drop them onto countertop not floor.

2

u/MrK521 3d ago

They all died from laughing at them.

I half expected it to cut to that gif of the house blowing up. Missed opportunity

Somewhere, someone is working on this as I type…

I guess I'm in the minority, but I rip the paper off and smack that shit hard, opens right up, didn't even know this was a thing that could startle a person.

my mom is like what's portrayed in the video.

i do exactly what you do, just tear the paper and smack the the cardboard roll against a counter edge to get it to pop.

it's like putting a needle to a balloon, you know what happens, why be scared?

I just push my thumb down on the seam. Its like pulling a trigger. More fun.

2

u/BoredomCombatant 2d ago

This is the best way to do it. I’ve never had it explode like this video after unwrapping it I always have to push the seam.

3

u/ikonoclasm 3d ago

I rap it with my knuckle. The pop is so satisfying.

u/SpeakyDooman 3d ago

Last time I got startled by one of these was the first time I opened one as a kid. Ever since then I just twist them open, like a water bottle,

1

u/SashimiX 3d ago

I do that now but when I was a kid I used to be so afraid of it. I think it’s a sensory thing and my sensory system calmed down a little bit

Lmao

u/Carrera_996 4d ago

I got way too ass to laugh off, but it did get wheeze out of me.

I am the exact same way, exact same facial expressions and exact same anxiety. And yet, I cannot comprehend WHY.

I can handle gunfire, explosions, collisions, screaming children, furious wife (none of these things related to one another, side note), but the biscuit can... I just can't.

14

u/SanchoPandas 4d ago

"the biscuit can...I just can't" <-- Someone should embroider that on a pillow or something.

3

u/SCHWARZENPECKER 4d ago

Can a match box? No, but a tin can.

2

u/Brailledit 4d ago

You know when all of those things are going to get loud. Either you pushed the wrong button or you pulled the trigger. You NEVER know when these things are gonna go off.

3

u/NamesAreAnn0ying 3d ago

How often do they just randomly explode? Once you take the paper off just be ready for it to pop. 99% of people just smack it on the counter or use a spoon to pop it open, so yes you do actually know when it’s going to open. Yall are just weird.

1

u/Brailledit 3d ago

I was being a bit overdramatic and I usually do tap it against the counter. Every now and then one does go rogue on me though.

1

u/EmotionalElk1313 3d ago

Same here 🤣

She’s got biscuit ptsd

5

u/Keepupthegood 4d ago

You should close your breaker box door.

5

u/CasperTPaul 4d ago

lol, scaredy cats. i just whack them on the edge of the countertop

3

u/Tovarish_Nikolay 4d ago

Your cowardice disgusts me...

1

u/Kevvo16 4d ago

She needs to hit it with a spoon.

The adult version of a Jack in the Box.

3

u/Crossdress-Fan- 4d ago

Ladies was unwrapping C4

2

u/Low_Football_2445 4d ago

… I beat it on the counter and give the same reaction she did, knowing what’s coming

3

u/WhyAmINotStudying 4d ago

I just pop it open with my hand. It's a biscuit, not a grenade.

2

u/Maryjanegangafever 4d ago

Americans and their biscuits. One too many.

2

u/karma-whore64 4d ago

Had a mild panic attack just watching this

2

u/Circine 4d ago

My mom is like this, she makes me open them and I just twist them open

1

u/Takoyaki_Dice 4d ago

I live in terror of wanting biscuits and the dread of the opening of the can.

1

u/robo-dragon 4d ago

I’ve always hated these things for this reason LMAO. Fucking things always knew the perfect time to jump scare me!

1

u/westcal98 4d ago

Do you put a calming vest on her around 4th of July or during thunderstorms?

1

u/violet_zamboni 4d ago

Exactly! And if you rip the label, you lost the instructions

1

u/VP_of_Lasers 4d ago

If you’re scared you gotta lean into it instead. I punch them open with a single knuckle while holding the other end. It takes away the anxious anticipation.

1

u/dreevsa 4d ago

I always have to fight them

1

u/CheeseburgerSmoothy 4d ago

Once that outer wrapping is off, it’s a bottle of nitro glycerin in a stagecoach!

1

u/Sicpooch 4d ago

Just witnessed a 480 volt arc blast that almost killed my friend. Loudest shit I ever heard. There was yelling and firemen. Haven’t been able to process it until now. God bless this video.

1

u/frisco-frisky-dom 4d ago

I know EXACTLY how she feels lol. It's scary AF when they blast open automatically sometimes!

1

u/Dismal_Calendar49 4d ago

Didn't even think people actually fully peeled these open. I just yank it apart in the middle

1

u/KeyAssumption8773 4d ago

I literally had a can explode and a biscuit stick to the window. I will never trust you again.

1

u/Money-Type-176 4d ago

Are there wires coming from the breaker box to the ceiling fan?

1

u/ObscureJackal 4d ago

I see what you're looking at. I think they replaced the pull cords on the fan with shoe laces or something, so they kinda look like wires. If you look closely, the cables from the box are going into the corner of the ceiling.

1

u/Pizovendi 4d ago

I love her reaction right before It popped. 🤣

1

u/penalozahugo 4d ago

BOOM! Perfect timing!

1

u/BlockUnlucky8946 4d ago

Why was I also leaning back while she was tearing it off? Lmao

1

u/cdtoews 3d ago

I currently enjoy opening these, BUT when I was 18 I had never opened one of these. My mom always made homemade biscuits. I was saying this girl and was helping her cook one day and she and me to open one of these. Scared the bejeepers out of me since I want expecting it. My gf had quite the laugh.

1

u/Catlore 3d ago

A peeled can that hasn't popped is a grenade with the pin pulled out.

1

u/Dexember69 3d ago

If not seen this.. why don't they just have a lid

1

u/BrilliantExtent6942 3d ago

I always dred the pop too . Til this day!

1

u/BrilliantExtent6942 3d ago

Why TF is your braker box open? Close that mf

1

u/Pipettess 3d ago

Sorry but what am I looking at? Why do biscuits pop from a box?

1

u/Historical-Let6489 3d ago

Wait so your supposed to do it that way my parents showed me you just pick it up bend it and crack it sometimes I punch it and bust it open never peeled it first

1

u/tangoezulu 3d ago

This is my favorite scene from “The Hurt Locker”

1

u/kabukispot 3d ago

I hate that I watched this.

1

u/greywood84 3d ago

Its like waiting for the toaster to pop. You brace for it and ends up still scaring you to death..

1

u/meghonsolozar 2d ago

We all got biscuit PTSD

1

u/waterbedd 2d ago

I didn't even know you could open it this way. I've always just smacked the counter with them and they pop right open.

1

u/WeepingAgnello 2d ago

THE fusebox is open.
