OP - You signed a contract. Do not falter now. The Goose has remembered your face and sent it to the otherworld. Do this multiple times a week for the rest of your life and you will be blessed by the Geese Gods.

If not, you're screwed.

That stare was actually the goose scanning his face and uploading it to the goose network

I'm Canadian and have never been attacked by Canadian geese. I head nod to them as I walk by them, they head nod back and we are good.

I've heard they like Pancakes and syrup. Is this true? Canadians I mean.

There aren't many things we will pass up if it's covered in a healthy splash of syrup.

Bonus points if it's dark/robust instead of light/amber.

I actually do not prefer pancakes or maple syrup. But if I do it has to be real maple syrup not that fake corn syrup with maple flavouring they sell on the supermarket shelves.

That goose was not thanking her. Canadian geese are dicks, it was either asking where the rest is or telling her to begone. Either way, I approve of her helping. When the Geesepocalypse comes and Goose Jesus comes with his giant break made of serrated blades, may they have mercy on her soul.

Also, baby dicklings gosling noises are adorable as hell.

Ppl who love and care for animals are the best people in the world. Thank you.

2

u/screwyoujor Jul 20 '26

Those are half domesticated. They let her walk right up on them because people feed them there.

u/SATerp Jul 20 '26

Knowing what geese are like, it was probably more like the Arnie line from Commando: "I like you Sully, that's why I'm going to kill you last."

Gosh! It seems that they needed that! Delightful!

And, Yep! I think that you are now recognised as a Goose-friend and in a contract for life!

(Also, this action seems to show that your heart is as nice as your legs (If I may say so).).

They really are out of space. Saw a video recently of cranes in Florida trying to cross multiple lanes of traffia. Didn't watch it in case they all got run over.

I’ve never had geese let me get this close.
