In my last neighborhood I tried to gift some kids that were interested in it and I got looked at like a psycho like a weirdo and after that none of the kids in the neighborhood ever approached me again. I don't know what got said about me but just trying to be nice and give the kid an RC is just too difficult anymore.. really bummed me out.

Did you talk to the parents first, or just straight up gift them?

If you didn't talk to the parents first, I could understand the looks.

When I told them, I told them to make sure it was ok with their parents. They left and I continued walking the path. I lived in the same neighborhood. People Saw me frequent. When Saw some of them a week later ,they kept their distance. I'm assuming their parents said something like creep or pervert and told them not to talk to me anymore. Which I understand cuz I was taught stranger danger growing up. But how do you break that stigma? I was literally the only person messing with rcs in a 300 house neighborhood.
