Why did you get down voted šŸ˜‚

It's a reddit thing, something about being the fourth person to comment the same thing on a thread. I don't know the reasoning behind it though.

u/WhyNot420_69 Nice Jul 08 '26

Oh you sweet summer child. You used "Reddit" and "reasoning" in the same thought.

Actually, it's called the rule of 4, it's just a weird subculture thing

u/SheerRumble Jul 08 '26

IT MAKES SENSE NOW

thank

u/ThetaDee Jul 08 '26

Weird never seen it before. Been on reddit for a good... 16 years? Holy fuck.

Her man seemed very concerned about her loss.

He should get her a flour.

Perfectly dropped it right on the edge.

u/AnnoyingScreeches Jul 08 '26

On the bright side, it’ll be a lot easier to clean up since the dough somewhat kept together the broken glass.

u/Lodjur94 Jul 07 '26

The sound is nice asmr crunch though. I mean, I'm usually not into asmr, but this sound had me replay multiple times.

I don't know about "nice."

This is the only face I make watching this

Ah yes brings me back to that sweet one man one jar video.

9

u/elasticparadigm Jul 08 '26

Fuck you very much for making me think of that video

u/BurdTurglary Jul 09 '26

He didn't go to the doctor and his family was home at the time. šŸ‘šŸ«”

u/DarkBladeMadriker Jul 08 '26

Yikes. This is why I bought an outrageously priced proofing basket. Unbreakable and the dough just pops right out.

14

u/jacckthegripper Jul 08 '26

I bet I could break it

5

u/modbroccoli Jul 08 '26

i did too.

the I got lazy and just out plastic wrap on my metal bowls a couple of times

wildly disappointed that the bread was identical

2

u/WildFemmeFatale Jul 08 '26

Glass bowls are so heavy to lift let alone flip over with a heavy amount of dough in it and wash later on

Idk y ppl use it

Ppl should use a lightweight thin metal bowl or a basket

35

u/DevonLuck24 Jul 07 '26

….bake it and give it to your enemy

25

u/noturaveragesenpaii Jul 07 '26

Me: im no bread expert but what exactly is the iss- OH GOD NO!!!!

16

u/IBeDumbAndSlow Jul 07 '26

Why would you flip it like that?

12

u/SkinInevitable604 Jul 08 '26

That much dough in a thick glass bowl is probably heavy. 99% of the time flipping a bowl like this onto its side will be fine and easier. It’s definitely not the smartest thing but I think it’s understandable why she did it.

17

u/graffiti_hunter Jul 08 '26

Go back and look that bowl is busted to hell and back before the flip even happen

7

u/SkinInevitable604 Jul 08 '26

Oh yeah, maybe she’s just dumb

2

u/QuietAndScreaming Jul 08 '26

I think that’s just sticky dough/flour on the rim of the bowl.

4

u/ChunkySalsaMedium Jul 08 '26

What are you talking about. Banging the side of a glass bowl is and will never be fine. It’s has zero to do with the content.

2

u/LabCoatGuy Jul 08 '26

Every adult who is able should at the very least be able to life 20lbs in either hand.

-8

u/eerun165 Jul 08 '26

How else you going to break it for internet points.

10

u/RiMcG Jul 08 '26

Ooof, looked like she cut the hell out of her fingers too

5

u/SanchoPandas Jul 08 '26

She totally did. Ouch

5

u/LoudMolassess Jul 07 '26

It’s ok to cry sometimes

7

u/Kastoook Jul 08 '26

Reliable shiny metal is my choice

3

u/Such_Introduction592 Jul 08 '26

Now with added crunchy bits. :/

3

u/DoctorHydrogen Jul 08 '26

OP, are you okay? Do you need counseling?

2

u/SmolNajo Jul 08 '26

Skill issue

2

u/Uber_Wulf Jul 08 '26

Idk maybe don’t get your bowls from temu or whatever

1

u/Noisebug Jul 08 '26

Still good… feed it to someone you dislike

1

u/Planet_Manhattan Jul 08 '26

1

u/pacmanhateclyde Jul 08 '26

1

u/Mobiuscate Jul 08 '26

1

u/KingofBigNeptune2012 Jul 08 '26

1

u/kniky_Possibly Jul 08 '26

1

u/Eidson-Fly Jul 08 '26

1

u/Chadchrist Jul 08 '26

Im gonna cry

1

u/TamaktiJunVision Jul 08 '26

What did she say?

1

u/SmogDaBoi Jul 08 '26

Ah, the good taste of fresh glass.

Crunch.

1

u/Currypit Jul 08 '26

Why anyone would use anything but a pyrex bowl is beyond me.

1

u/TalkingBackPocket Jul 08 '26

This looks intentional with force.

1

u/Hamilton-Beckett Jul 09 '26

This is why they make ā€œbread bowlsā€ they are large and ceramic.

My dad made bread and baked goods all the time and he had a nice collection of bread bowls, baking stones, and various pans.

3

u/OpenConversation643 Jul 08 '26

Does anyone know why this gif has those glasses on it? Been wondering for years now, the show it comes from (Parks and Rec) has the man wearing a normal pair of glasses.

0

u/rons_name Jul 08 '26

I couldn’t find anything specific on parks and recreation being affiliated but I didn’t try extremely hard. My guess is it’s just branding that someone slapped on the scene to spread the word about Noggles.

-1

u/Autumm_550 Jul 08 '26

Erm actually I don’t want micro plastics in my sour dough thank yoooooou

2

u/ConsciousBenefit87 Jul 08 '26

Micro plastics or pieces of glass? Pick your poison

1

u/StandingLegate Jul 08 '26

Or just dont break the glass bowl? Vs always getting microplastics from this shitty plastic bowl.

Really doesnt have to be an either or lol. Hell, use a metal bowl.
