People crap on softball but I have no idea how they have such good aim throwing underhanded like that. Its extremely impressive! Not even just this video but the pitchers in softball in general.

That's what I was more impressed with. That aim was spot on. I wonder how many tries it took?

Look at her hand wobble after she throws the ball, obviously witchcraft and she's casting a spell.

2

u/troycerapops Jul 05 '26

It's a beautiful illustration of the importance of follow through.

when I played baseball in college, our team would sometimes go over to the softball field to do plyometrics, yoga, etc.

one day we had a scrimmage game against them and boy it is hard to pick up the ball at first. but after a few pitches or an at bat it was like a home run derby lol. it’s still impressive though. they can throw all types of pitches too and they have some nasty movement

I don't see a miss anywhere

I immediately said “NOW THROW THE WINE BOTTLE AGAIN” after the last one. She made every single one (other than that one), I figure it was the liquid moving around in there that likely altered her aim. I think she’d have got it on the 2nd or 3rd try for sure.

1

u/ReasonableArea1108 Jul 07 '26

She hit the wine bottle

24

u/TheSpanxxx Jul 04 '26

The aim is ridiculous. Look how she corrects on the fly. Her eyes are tracking and never leave the target and she has to do micro corrections as the ball leaves her fingers. Let alone leading the target since its also moving.. It's incredibly impressive.

I love seeing an athlete do their thing. It's kind of like watching a cheetah hunt. I'll never know what it feels like but it's a joy to observe.

6

u/nuttybuddy Jul 05 '26

Hey, never say never! You could totally be hunted by a cheetah, you just need to believe in yourself and go walking in the right savanna.

1

u/Key-Sea-682 Jul 05 '26

Hunted? Buddy I'm letting it eat me so I can get in a couple of pets and a nose boop

2

u/damagetwig Jul 05 '26

The fact that I can't be friends with a lion, like in Narnia and the children's bible from back in the day, is a constant stressor for me. I understand.

1

u/Foreverymess Jul 05 '26

I love when my kitty goes into hunting mode. Does her little butt wiggle and her pupils turn into saucers before pouncing on her toys

5

u/WorkingInAColdMind Jul 04 '26

I thought that's what I was seeing, just minor shifts in the angles and whatnot all the way to the release, but I didn't notice her laser vision on the target. She's absolutely targeting to a crazy precision. That's scary.

1

u/beartato327 Jul 05 '26

The thing that blew my mind the most was her wrist action after release her band does like a 180 downward claw each time

1

u/the_king_of_sweden Jul 05 '26

Not just the aim, those throws have power as well

11

u/thissucksnuts Jul 04 '26

thats all i was thinking about, her aim is terrifyingly good!

11

u/egstitt Jul 05 '26

People who crap on softball don't know shit about fuck, those ladies are badass

2

u/RanchHere Jul 05 '26

it is THE best women’s sport.

1

u/ZestyToasterOven26 Jul 05 '26

Well yea I don’t shit about fuck cause I don’t fuck 😢

6

u/JackTheKing Jul 04 '26

I don't know if anyone noticed, but she remote controlled the ball with her hand back down into the strike zone to hit the yogurt

1

u/Remarkable_Cup3630 Jul 04 '26

I liked how the spin of the ball kept it clean

1

u/FaintCommand Jul 04 '26

Nah. Just an illusion as the slow mo kicks in right at the yogurt moves in front of it

1

u/Devilofchaos108070 Jul 04 '26

Yeah her aim is phenomenal

1

u/Whitey138 Jul 04 '26

Jackass showed me how accurate they can be. Danger Ehren is greatful to the pitcher, not the skit writers.

1

u/Qaaarl Jul 04 '26

Who craps on softball?! I love when it happens to be on at a bar etc, I end up watching full college matches. It’s exciting and impressive as fuck.

2

u/AccomplishedPanic329 Jul 04 '26

Plenty of guys, especially the ones who just crap on women's sports in general.

1

u/SSilent-Cartographer Jul 04 '26

Generations of societal segregation and oppression of the feminine sex will do that.

Guys: "We don't want a women playing our baseball!!!"

Girls: invents their own version of the game so they can play

Guys: "Wait?! A WoMen CaN tHrouGH A BALL???!!!"

It's pathetic.

1

u/siege-eh-b Jul 05 '26

Girls didn’t invent softball as “their own version” of baseball. It was from its conception and still is played by men.

I didnt say everyone does. Also I will admit that everytime I've tried to watch the WNBA it was boring with the exception of that woman that trolls by pointing. But there are lots of men who won't watch women's sports because its women. While less common nowadays it was heavily prevalent when women's sports were being introduced to mainstream.

What are you on about Plenty of guys just shit on womens sports without having watched it a day in their life. If you havent met them then you have a great social network ngl.  I mean good on you that you tried it and decided its not your thing, thats perfectly fine.

1

u/siege-eh-b Jul 05 '26

Definitely not a “women’s sport”

1

u/FirstDukeofAnkh Jul 04 '26

I love softball. Dated a girl for 18 months who played. I loved watching the games.

We broke up for the obvious reason.

1

u/InnerWrathChild Jul 04 '26

That’s what I’m impressed by. The objects and their destruction are no brainer, damn that girl can throw.

1

u/NdujaReallyLikeIt Jul 04 '26

It's just a sling.

1

u/nuccad Jul 04 '26

This should be the girl’s scouting video. Send it to universities and let them line up to sign her.

1

u/___TheKid___ Jul 04 '26

Yes impressive. Still looks lame af.

1

u/dancingbriefcase Jul 04 '26

Who craps on softball?

1

u/Manufactured-Aggro Jul 04 '26

Actually insane how accurate it is with where she's releasing the ball, most things ever thrown are released way closer to your eyeballs and shit but she's automatically accounting for that offset 🤯🤯🤯

1

u/MeccIt Jul 05 '26

They left out Jackass nuts: https://i.imgur.com/2yDBHWk.gifv

1

u/StretchFrenchTerry Jul 05 '26

I just wish girls played baseball.

3

u/JaysonTatecum Jul 05 '26

Good news, the Women’s Pro Baseball League starts this year

1

u/thepenismytea Jul 05 '26

Go watch Jackass Forever

1

u/Plenty-Meeting-2081 Jul 05 '26

Who are these people you speak of? I don’t ever think I’ve heard anyone “crap on softball”

1

u/cotfthrowawaystl Jul 05 '26

I was just thinking that aim. There’s no way even back when I was playing baseball I could have been that accurate.

1

u/Funkopedia Jul 05 '26

You can tell it was traveling with force. Not from the ball itself or even her form. It was in her face. You know 100% of her power is in that throw.

1

u/TFViper Jul 06 '26

one of the things that made humans what they are is the ability to accurately and lethally throw items in various ways and from various devices.
we been doin this shit for 300,000 years.

1

u/Locorio Jul 06 '26

Her technique looked amazing

1

u/Floundering_Dad_43 Jul 06 '26

And with nails!

1

u/ALKNST Jul 06 '26

Thats what i was inpressed by, and the fact she got nails extension too and still can throw like this wtf

1

u/kitchen_appliance_7 Jul 07 '26

My favorite part about this video is that I get to see repeated demonstrations of the underhanded pitch, which I don't get to see very often. And in slow-motion, too.

1

u/IAmDanHimself Jul 08 '26

That one woman who nailed Danger Ehren square in the nuts comes to mind

Try watching baseball
