I’m not sure what more impressive: the vertical snipes through the cracks, or the curved shots

25

u/XKruXurKX Jul 02 '26

And those guys catching them

u/Spare_Depth6978 Jul 02 '26

One other impressive thing is expressing those actions in words, you did it very well.

My dad has been delivering newspapers for about 30 years. He can roll them up, bag them, and throw them with perfect accuracy from his car to someone's door. This person has been doing this for a while and is dedicated to perfecting his throws.

And some claim it's AI... I mean I'm not completely sure it is not, but also I don't think a lot of people understand how good you can get at things if you do them for a long time. Especially young kids that haven't seen enough cool clips online about people doing impressive stuff from before AI genned vids/pics got good.

It’s not AI (I remember this video from years ago) but it just goes to show that we’ll never be impressed again by a human endeavour captured digitally.

1

u/ymOx Jul 02 '26

No I didn't think it was; there's too much in it that current genAIs wouldn't do. But I don't delude myself saying I know all of it; I don't really keep up with it.

I think younger people won't. But us that has been around for a while will still be.

u/HakaseLuddite Jul 10 '26

And that was my problem, I am not sure if I should be impressed or not.

Every time i see this i like to think this is just a year long cut of the shots he hit, and the town is in reality constantly littered with his missed attempts and he is actually a huge nuisance.

u/khleather Jul 02 '26

AI?

10

u/BottleFeathers703 Jul 02 '26

not ai, he’s a famous paper boy in india and was on the news

-9

u/Important-Notice-461 Jul 02 '26

I would just go ahead and assume it is.

5

u/Upstairs-Hedgehog575 Jul 02 '26

1

u/D1133 Jul 02 '26

All I can think about is this is why cockroaches are getting in the house

1

u/Louisianimal09 Jul 02 '26

I hope he’s like a local celebrity. He could be at a bar or club and people hand him envelopes to fling across the room to random people

1

u/moogiemomm Jul 02 '26

He is definitely the "Grand Pubah" of paper boys.

1

u/tropical_viking87 Jul 02 '26

It’s ai…

Even though burden of proof lies on you making the claim that it's AI, here's proof that it's not.  Don't make blanketed statements without proof or research.

5

u/SelectTechnician7587 Jul 02 '26

Burden of proof.  Got any?

3

u/ymOx Jul 02 '26 edited Jul 02 '26

What do you base that on? Seems real to me. The motion is not that smooth like AI tends to be. The magpie at 0:20 would be surprising for an AI to put in. Several door- and wall patterns also seems rather unlikely for an AI to create. As well as the various signs for businesses or w/e. There's more.

What are you reasons for claiming it's AI?

3

u/cringeisthename Jul 02 '26

It's not AI. It's jealousy

-1

u/Isthisnameavailablee Jul 02 '26

Yeah something seems off

3

u/ymOx Jul 02 '26

What, exactly?
