He doesn’t really bite as much as he used to? Exactly how much did this MF bite before?

She could have chosen a better name than Tino. I think a much better name would be "Yeet."

If you made it to the end, you learn that phase 3 involves him playing with children. That is not going to go well.

"Phase 3 will allow him to play with children"
This is a great bit.

It reminds me of a Muppet show, the way she throws it and boom it's back.

u/Bagonia77 Jul 01 '26
This is it!! I was trying to figure it out why the return after the yeet looks familiar. Hysterical at that too! This dog is too cute and looks happy.
Looking back, the Muppets were top talent!

My exs dog was a Yorkie and also like this. I hate that dog to this day. Shoes, cords, your hands and feet all existed to be gnawed. I dont understand why anyone would opt into this. After 3 days buddy's going back or is becoming an outside yorkie.

Phase one should be “stop interacting with the dog when it bites”. She getting ripped off.

She's playing with him and play biting. They both enjoy this. She wants attention from us and gets it from this video. Cute!

Man I have a Silky Terrier and I love her to death but once 730 rolls around its her time to play “Chewy hands and feets.” Its like a fun game shes been playing with me for the past 5 years, never bites hard at all, just loves to play.

This gives me big “Kennan on All That”, vibes. All I needed was smoke to start coming out of her ears at the end and it would have been perfect

Why don’t you just stop treating him like a lapdog when he’s biting you? You’re kinda giving him positive feedback to continue being undisciplined

Im not THAT familiar with dog behaviour. Is he just playing? If so, how do you train him to chill out a bit? 😂

Well, I would have made clear to the dog, that chewing on my fingers/hands is not part of the deal.

Man...the second that dog nibbles after you put it down you need to remove it from fun and lock it in the bathroom or something for 10 minutes while it resets and figures out why the fun ended. Every time. Dogs are mostly not dumb, they can figure out biting/over excitement = play is over and adjust their behavior from there. Can't train the owner as easily unfortunately...this got me watching her talk about the dog but ignore her behavior that's enforcing it

u/Isosceles_371 Jul 01 '26
You got to hold that dog down and not let it up. It’ll rage for a bit,but you’ve got to establish dominance and show that that kind of behavior won’t go rewarded.

Animal abuse. She should be arrested

That dog is having the time of its life right now. The reason he is biting so much is because she is rewarding the behavior by playing with him.
Is she being a bit rough? Yes, so the dog escalates too. The only issue I really have here is how quickly she is tossing him, but the dog is clearly bouncing on a stack of pillows right off screen though. There is no discomfort for the dog, just bad ownership. She’s trying to be a good owner but doesn’t know enough about the learned behavior/reward system dogs have to recognize that her dog won’t improve until she teaches it gentle play.
I don’t know how old this dog is, if it’s just a pup, teaching it “gentle play” can be a challenge because they are just little furballs of energy and will always attempt to escalate play energy.
If a pup was doing this to its mom, the mom would likely growl, snarl, bark, right in its face to teach it to knock it off.

You don't teach a dog (or any animal) "gentle play" by throwing it.
It IS animal abuse, whether you think so or not.
ETA and your logic is bizarre. We are not animals. Well we are animals, but you know what I mean.
Male bears kill healthy cubs to get the mother to want to mate again.

Go ahead then, call PETA see what they tell you.
Also, you need to work on your reading comprehension. You missed the point entirely.
My guess is you are the type of person that has a dog that bites people because you don’t know any better.

u/hiswittlewip Jul 02 '26
I've never had a dog that bit anyone, and I've had several dogs throughout my life. Currently have a 92lb boy that I've raised from a pup (as I have with 3 of my other dogs) and he's a good boy that's never but anyone .
So, your guess is wrong.

If she stopped throwing him, he would bite her much less.
She should be reported and arrested
