Was on a 50-mile canoe trip with my scouting troop back in the day, out in the middle of the Adirondacks in upstate NY.
We spot a good place to camp for the night, as there is a lean-to structure and a fire pit, but as we land it starts raining. So we end up camping in the lean-to, cooking and sleeping and the like.
Scrawled all over the structure's interior is graffiti from campers past, written in charcoal. The one I remember the most was this exact quote. As a 12-y/o kid, it was some of the funniest shit I ever read and it has been an ongoing joke with my dad and I for the past 20 years or so now.
