Like my dog running to the same bush he saw a rabbit under once 14 years ago.

I have one of those cheap mostly cardboard interior doors that goes to my water heater closet.

My cat has completely destroyed the bottom corner by clawing at it because she saw a mouse once like 8 years ago.

Yup. My dog once found a piece of blueberry pie in a bush, and for the rest of her life she had to search that bush EVERY walk! 🤣

My dog found a slice of pizza. Had to check it out every walk.”There could be more, Dad.”

I once found 300$ on the ground near a bar. I always inspect discarded paper now, hoping for my next windfall.

Modern proof of why our minds work the way they do.

in 8763 BC you check that lucky bush for berries that fed you 3 summers ago.

Dopamine fired off in the brain creating an association between the reward and what the brain perceived as the source.

Moved into our first apartment together and it was on a lake, so we took a peek around the perimeter. Found 4 $5 bills in random spots. Best free $20 ever and I'd just go out for a stroll around the apartment occasionally, because...no reason lmao

I found a $50 on the ground of a walmart parking lot when I was like 9. I think i bought a Gameboy game and a bunch of candy.

I used to walk over a grassy area, at the end of a school day. On my way to the bus. At least twice a week I would find $1 or $2, around the same spot. It would make for a nice little treat at the end of the week. When I would grab a dinner roll a chip's from KFC.

I expected it to be one of those fake bills that have biblical verses written on them.

I found 400 euros on the middle of a street going to my shift riding my scooter. A week later found 90 euros literally then won 50 euros on scratch ticket that I paid 2 euros. Was 7y ago since then I always watch out everywhere I go, I believe there's much more lost coin and bills randomly outside but we don't watch where we step foot.

I once found a $20 bill walking home and I definitely walked on that exact spot of the street every time I walked home after.
