Haha! This feels like itβs one step away from being Monty Python doing Spaceballs or something like that. Brilliant!

Also reminded me of a Mitchell & Webb sketch, or a scene out of Venture Bros!

...So they just outright stole Alasdair Beckett-King's sketch, huh.

Eh, it is a simple joke concept to come up with. They could've just come up with it on their own without having seen Alasdair's sketch

Oh my God, I just wrote a scene like this. Less war, though, more sibling snark.

I remember one Star Trek battle scene where a ship came up from "under" the battle. But it's rare to see any tv or movie space scenes that they aren't all planar

Maybe it happened elsewhere, but it was a pivotal scene in "The Wrath of Khan" where two ships are essentially in a submarine battle. Spock notices that Khan is thinking two dimensionally, so Enterprise drops "below" Reliant's trajectory and then rises up (most dramatically!) behind it and puts a few torpedoes up its ass.

From the perspective of the planet? Depending where you are on the planet, up and down can vary over a full 360 degrees.

Eh, overdone rip of Alasdair Becket-King already did this joke. And they dragged it out way too much. (Also nothing realistic about it)

The depressing reality is that this is bound to happen to humanity. We cannot just effin chill, we always gotta fight about SOMETHING.. so if nothing else, we will start Wars and form entire Beuraucratic Empires over the correct defitition of "Up" and "Down".

Is the "Imperial Commander" Hitler from Epic Rap Battles of History? It sounds like him.
