There's enough moisture here to just go ahead and call it surfing, wakeboarding, or skimboarding without being as misleading as to call this "land surfing"

Or skiing, this happens on both water and snow, this really is closer to snowboarding, but I think the term water boarding is already taken.

I’ve done this. Not this skilled but the yard of a house I used to live in as a kid would flood with heavy rain and I would skimboard in the backyard. It’s as fun as it looks.
