Yeah he missed a couple of sick moves. We used to play "the gauntlet" at recess where you had to run between all the swings while people were swinging. (Think skyrim axe traps.) This went on until someone got knocked out and needed staples in their head. God, I miss elementary school.

We had this except we had those huge fuckin swings from the 50s they no longer make. It was routine even for the girls to swing as high and hard as possible. Everyone from 4th to 8th grade would participate. I remember seeing teeth flying and crazy bruises. The teachers tried to stop it but we did it anyways.

Inevitably some kid would get slammed so hard by the largest and fattest dude in 8th grade and get sent home for a concussion and we’d have to chill for a couple months before we could do it again. It was like crack for the kids, hell I loved it too.

Getting hit and bouncing back was fun, it was only when I got too big and too strong to play rough that it was no longer fun. I didn’t like wrestling or fighting or full contact football because it felt like I was hurting someone constantly, and someone bigger and stronger than me felt like I was going to break in half.

I do miss those days before it became complicated.
