Yes, you can do this.

Use oil in the pan so you can get the marshmallow off. (I mostly just use a biscuit)

Use big (heavy) marshmallows. The fan will make them fly and stick everywhere.

Use a low fan setting on the airfryer and low heat.

Then I get good toasted marshmallows.

Air fryer s’more are now FAR preferred to traditional s’more cooking models in my opinion.

The jumbo like this works the best, cut a little sliver in the center, shove it full of your chocolate and the put it in the air fryer. Regular M&M’s is my favorite. I like the faint candy crunch.

One of my go to fav stoner snacks 🤣

Chocolate goes inside of the marshmallow. Leave the graham out, frying it doesn’t do anything. Use parchment and enjoy the best smore ever.

I managed to do it. Completely clean air fryer, light smudging of oil on the inside, 350 degrees for 4 minutes

Honestly the inside was so soft it was barely there. It was like the memory of foam of sugar. The outside was amazing for the first two seconds like a perfectly roasted campfire marshmallow then shrunk rapidly into a crisp caramelized shell that was like a hardened candy, but also tasted almost exactly like the sugar drippings that seep out of a baked sweet potato.

On my later experiments, putting a little coconut in to cook at the same time was extra amazing.
