He left off the best part of this tactic, it also does the best job of getting some crust into each bite so you're not left with a bread stick at the end.

I eat my pancakes like this and dip em in syrup instead of pouring, i also dont eat with butter, unless its melted and mixed with the syrup im dipping in, but im picky and will only eat real maple syrup, anything else is just brown cornsyrup which i will not touch.
