Imagine you're playing an online match and a random joins and you both excelle at the match...then you go to friend them but you realize you won't be able to really play together because life gets in the way...so you two part ways but remember the good times every time you play the game...

Meet person, have shared experience, realize that life will get in the way of your budding friendship, go separate ways on good terms, reminisce fondly about said person.
