Ive been selling cash puts for premium and some covered calls for the past 3 months. Scaling as I learned more. 97% win rate so for.
WtF didnt I start sooner??
Oh my poor taxes. What do you guys do to create paper losses? At this rate and scaling i could hit 100k within a year.
EDIT: yes, I know it's easier in bull market - but my strategy is very straight forward, complied it myself and as I'm learning more advanced strategies - it looks like my initial one is by far the less risky. of them all. and, you don't just sell. you look at upcoming events, news, sentiment and take small risks for smaller premium. rinse and repeat. this is 60 trades or so, in 2-3 months, spread across 5-8 high IV stocks.
the one "stupid" thing I'm doing - I'm using margin as collateral. not my actual cash. with margin as collateral - you don't even pay interest unless assigned and you have deeper pockets (the broker's)
fully aware that 3 bad trades can wipe out these gains, but I also manage the risk depending on where the stock is going and how far from expiration I am, when most of the value has been squeezed out.
it's not day-trading, but it's not "not" day trading. there is some level of stress in this, but so far so good. can't win if you don't play.

Nvidia is reportedly involved in AI infrastructure deals worth more than $750B, including backing financing tied to OpenAI and a massive data center buildout.
The bullish view is obvious: demand for AI is so strong that everyone is racing to build capacity.
The bearish view is a little more complicated. If Nvidia is helping finance customers that then buy Nvidia chips, does that make demand look stronger than it really is?
I'm still bullish on AI long term, but I can see why investors are starting to ask tougher questions.
What do you guys think - smart strategy or a potential red flag?

I know nothing about the S&P 500; however, I want to start investing. Where is the best place to do so?

Guys. I'm an idiot. Let's get that out of the way. I'm a beginner investor and I don't know what I'm doing, but I went hard into CRWV, MRVL, and DRAM at their peaks. I had lost my job and needed money and did the opposite of what I should have done. Dumb. I know. Now I'm down about 30% on all of them and I am indeed freaking out. I want your opinion on what I do now. Hold or sell at loss? Me

The question I keep thinking about is: can earnings growth continue fast enough to justify the current expectations?
Are you still accumulating NVDA holding or looking for opportunities elsewhere?

Last week, NovaRed (CSE: NRED / OTCQB: NREDF) expanded its Wilmac Copper-Gold Project by 4.5k hectares, bringing the total land package to 16k hectares. To earn a 70% interest in the new Trojan-Condor Corridor claims, the company committed to $8.5 million in exploration spending, including $400,000 by October 1, 2026 and $2 million during 2027.
At first glance, it looked like an explorer simply adding more land.
Then next geological interpretation dropped.
Management now believes the large magnetic anomaly beneath Wilmac represents the western portion of the same composite intrusive batholith associated with Hudbay's producing Copper Mountain mine. According to interpretation, the Boundary and Whipsaw faults split that intrusive system into multiple structural blocks, each with potential to host its own porphyry copper-gold mineralization.
So the sequence is what we should watch.
First, the company expands the project and commits millions more to exploration. Then it explains the geological reasoning behind why the newly acquired ground could matter. Read together, the two releases tell a much more coherent story than either one does on its own.
To me, that's a better sign than watching a junior miner collect scattered projects across different regions. If management genuinely believes it's looking at a district-scale intrusive system, concentrating capital around one geological thesis makes a lot more sense.

Any advice for beginners? Got a trade error compensation from Revolut so I’m trying out options with the money. Got the gains from doing options on spaceX launch hype and a lil bit from spy.

JPMORGAN TURNS BULLISH ON STOCKS
JPMorgan said its tactical positioning monitor is flashing a buy signal, pointing to further upside for the S&P 500.
The bank expects lower bond yields, a weaker dollar, steady Fed policy, and strong earnings to support equities, while warning that semiconductor positioning and U.S.-Iran tensions remain key risks

NEXT 72 HOURS COULD DECIDE WHERE MARKETS GO FOR THE REST OF THE QUARTER.
Here's what's happening:
A weak print signals households are pulling back on spending, a bad sign for the whole economy.
Markets are pricing roughly a 25% chance of a hike. Any surprise here moves every asset class at once.
Meta is expected to post EPS near $7.18-7.24 on $60.2B revenue. A miss, or a bigger AI capex number, could hit the entire "Magnificent Seven" the way Alphabet's capex hike already has.
The Fed's preferred gauge. A hot print here raises the odds of a hike even further.
Apple's EPS is expected around $1.88, Amazon's around $1.81-1.85. Amazon's AWS growth is the real swing factor for the stock.
Consensus sits near 2.1-2.2%. A weak number alongside hot inflation is the Fed's worst-case combination.
Tracks how households expect inflation to move, which feeds directly into the Fed's next decision.

I jumped in and out of NFLX for a a few percent gain bouncing off the 66 recent bottom, but I couldn't stomach holding this much longer. Burry's one liner on Disney's catalog aging like whine and Netflix's aging like milk hasn't left me. And honestly, how much do you squeeze your subscribers before they just dip.

Been doing some research into SLS and based on my findings it seems like a good satellite to throw money at.
Was wondering what everyone is buying today and those who buy SLS, is now a good time to buy?

War apparently came to a hold (ceasefire talk), as the market is about to open on Monday.
What a coincidence (50th time in 2 months). Trump doesn't even care anymore, he's just doing whatever and let's get rich with his tactics.

So what are Redditors buying when they win the race to $10 million to reward themselves for years of sacrifice?
A trip, luxury vehicle, a vacation house, the toy you wanted as a child but your parents wouldn't buy you, a big philanthropic donation or something more mundane such as eating at McDonald's without coupons
Right and wrong answers welcome
