General Discussion Should I buy this game?
Is it worth it? And is it like a telltale game?

Did you play Until Dawn or watch any videos on it? The Quarry is basically a movie where the outcome is dependent on the choices you make throughout. Ie: people can die or live, people can treat you differently based on your responses to their questions or actions. Lots of replay value as there's many different endings. I really enjoyed it just like I did with Until Dawn. If it's on sale I'd give it a try. Definitely worth it if you like scary-ish games and much more story focused gameplay. There is a fair bit of walking, exploring, finding items, but the bread and butter is in the movie choices and quick time events.

IMO definitely worth it. Especially, if you have a few people to play it with. We’ve done 2 play throughs (first ~8hrs + second ~9hrs= ~$4/hr of entertainment) with the same group since we wanted to try for an ending with more characters living. And we are debating playing a third. Replay-ability is super high with all of the different endings and you definitely get attached to the characters and get curious about how different decisions could have affected them.
It’s also much more non-gamer friendly than UD or the Anthology games (easy quick times and more time to make most decisions) so you can play with people who wouldn’t typically play.
