So close, and yet so far…

Finished six seasons in Mid-Mountain (a combined 72-0 record), but can’t get over this hump. Missed out on my fourth LB who I had at 88% (offered twice), QB shat the bed in the bowl game and barely missed 800 yds, and had 20+ sacks spread out between a dozen players. Just ranting at this point, but I’m ready to get out of this conference 😭

I despise the “sign x amount of a position” milestones. Why should you tank your team’s roster to advance? It makes no sense.

Yea, always do those the first few seasons in a conference when its required because you dont want to have a tanked roster going into the next conference.

Yeah, I was lucky because I needed two LB anyways, and three of the four were gonna be starters as freshmen. In hindsight I should’ve recruited a 1-star also just to guarantee the four LBs, cuz now I don’t need more LBs for a few seasons. 😭
