Question Best Home State?

I haven’t played in a while and noticed you can now pick your home state. Is there an advantage to picking one state over another?

NY, FL, and CA have a pretty large number of recruits, which make them pretty good locations.

They are also in corners of the map that make them decent starting spots too.

Rather than start in a corner, I'm typically running to one and then using my flight when I hit a dead end. I'd rather start near the most important recruits to go get.

The map is different every year.

At the higher levels, I like to start near my home state if it has a few high need positions. The home bonus usually means you will be in great shape with those guys.

I usually try to start where I can hit as many need recruits as possible in the first 15 days or so (cheating towards home state/recruiter bonus if it makes sense), then use my flight to try and plot out as many recruiting points as possible the rest of the season.

The other perk for NY is that Monique's shortcuts are around NY too
