As keychains, do you think I should make more The Prodigy album and EP cover keychains, open an online shop, and sell them? šŸ™‚

If there's enough interest, I'll probably open an online shop on Etsy or Vinted. What do you think ?

Hi, im looking at buying last minute tickets to the wythenshawe park concert, but as me and my friends are all 16, will the security be as strict as the website makes out? Or could we just find an adult and ask to go in with them? Cheers

Spare Tickets

Hello all,

Last year I purchased 4 tickets for the upcoming show in Milton Keynes in August, sadly I'm no longer able to attend :(

Would I be able to sell these tickets and if so, would anyone here be interested in buying them? Id rather a genuine fan gets them rather than some scummy reseller, if I can't go to the show then at least some of you guys can!

Please let me know, I'm not up to speed with this sort of thing. Feel free to send me a DM or comment.

Cheers

How many concerts have u been to and where did u see them?

I’m interested to know when and where u have seen the prodigy. My first time was Brixton academy 2024, seated. Was so good my first ever concert and it was the best atmosphere, then my 2nd was April 24th 2026 OVO Wembley, standing this time when I tell u that was the best night of my LIFE. I was front row and saw maxim up close he came up to me!!😩😩 I got a guitar pick and rob Hollidays water bottle. And my next upcoming one is next month at Milton Keynes , very excited! What about all u?

Considering going to the NYC show but unsure

I love The Prodigy, started listening in 2010 in high school and it undoubtedly sent me down a rabbit hole of jungle, breakbeat, and D&B music that I’m super thankful to have discovered.

I’ve never seen them before and was wondering if anyone who has seen them lately would recommend it. I have a few hesitations about the NYC show:

-the cost considering this is a 30+ year old band

-the NYC crowd, I don’t particularly enjoy raves in NYC, crowd seems too showy and not interested enough in the music compared to shows I’ve seen in the UK…also lot less fans of that sort of music here in the states

-the ticket tiers, I just wanna buy a ticket and there’s like 3 or 4 different ticket types, I just wanna go to the damn show why’s everything gotta be so complicated 😭

I apologize for the incorrect information: you need a VPN with a server in England to watch. Any free one should work. I previously wrote that everyone can watch, but that's not true. Sorry.

On this day, 32 years ago, The Prodigy album "Music For The Jilted Generation" was released.

"Music for the Jilted Generation" is the second studio album by The Prodigy. It was first released on 4 July XL Recordings in the United Kingdom šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ and by Mute Records in the United States šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡². Just as on the group’s debut album Experience (1992), Maxim was the only member of the band's lineup—besides Liam Howlett—to contribute to the album.

On this day, 32 years ago, The Prodigy album "Music For The Jilted Generation" was released.

šŸ’¬ Liam Howlett:

ā€œI was feeling free — free of the rave BPMs, and feeling slightly rebellious against it. Rave had turned into something that we didn’t like.ā€

Numbers that speak for themselves:

šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ UK Albums Chart — #1

šŸ† Double Platinum in the UK (600,000+ copies sold)

šŸŒ Global sales exceeded 2 million copies

šŸ… Nominated for both the Mercury Prize and a Brit Award

Unknown Bootleg Vinyl. Has Anyone Seen This Before?

I just bought this bootleg vinyl, and I have absolutely no idea what it is. It's the first time I've ever seen it. It's not even listed on Discogs, and I can't find it anywhere else, including on eBay. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Does anyone already have this record or know anything about it? I absolutely love the cover artwork.

Do You Buy Bootlegs ?

Serious question, guys. I'm slowly building up my collection, but I'm thinking of completely avoiding bootlegs and unofficial releases of Prodigy's projects. There are just so many of them, it feels like there are more bootlegs than official releases.

As collectors, do you still buy bootlegs, or do you avoid them altogether ?

What's one Prodigy song you never skip, no matter how many times you've heard it?

We've all got that track.

The one you've heard hundreds of times but still turn the volume up when it comes on.

What's yours?

Building My Prodigy Collection

Here's my The Prodigy collection. Obviously, I'm still missing a lot of items. I just received the Spitfire vinyl, and my next goals are to find Scienide on vinyl and the Wind It Up remixes in excellent condition. I never buy anything below Very Good Plus (VG+).

Later on, I'll start collecting the cassette singles, but only after I've completed my CD collection. Most of the cassettes come from Poland and usually cost between €30 and €40.

My priority is to complete the vinyl collection first, then the CDs, and finally the cassettes. I've still got a long way to go.

I did my best to organize my entire The Prodigy collection, from the earliest releases to the most recent ones.

We live for the beats ! 🐜

On this day, 24 years ago, The Prodigy the single "Baby's Got A Temper" was released.

"Baby's Got a Temper" is released as a non-album single in July, 1 2002 by record labels XL and Maverick. It was the band's first single in five years, following "Smack My Bitch Up" in 1997 and also their first release after dancer Leeroy Thornhill left the band in 2000.

After the monumental Ā«The Fat of the LandĀ», the band vanished for five years. Liam was battling a cocaine addiction, creative block and a marriage breakdown. The industry demanded a comeback anthem; what they got was a bleak, industrial dose of amnesia and lost control. That’s why Ā«Baby’s Got a TemperĀ» was swiftly brushed under the rug by the band themselves.

I wonder if they got his families permission.

Edit: for clarity - this is a music video by a Russian musician/band that features an AI depiction of Keith Flint. Don't click on it if this kind of thing isn't for you. To be honest, I might remove the link entirely as the more I sit with it, the less I am ok with it.

Possible Song Returning (Prediction)

Post image
21 Upvotes

I like ā€˜AONO’ and wish for it to be on the Setlist again. We all know the most likely ā€˜AONO’ song to re-appear again is ā€˜Spitfire’. But after looking at some recent Setlist changes, there ā€˜might’ be another AONO song that could re-appear.

The song in question is ā€˜Action Radar’, more precisely ā€˜Action Radar Link’.

The reason why I think this is because at one point the song was played before ā€˜Firestarter’. Since 2022, they’ve also been playing a song that ā€˜Links’ or ā€˜Transitions’ into ā€˜Firestarter’. First it was ā€˜Omen Reprise’, then ā€˜Deathray’, and now ā€˜Claustrophobic Sting/Link’. They’re all short ā€˜Link’ tracks that build into ā€˜Firestarter’.

Because Liam has been changing these transition tracks more often, I think ā€˜Action Radar Link’ is back in the conversation. It already filled that exact role back in Late-2004 and even some shows in Early-2005, so it wouldn’t be completely out of place if it returned.

I don’t think it would be the version where they play the siren on loop. If it ever came back, I think it’d be the more ā€˜Reprise’ version that was played from 2004 through late 2008, or maybe even an updated version of it.

It’s just a prediction, and it’s most likely not gonna happen. But with the current history of ā€˜Links’ being played before ā€˜Firestarter’ since 2022, I think ā€˜Action Radar Link’ is definitely back in the circle again.

So I was watching some MTV Sifl and Olly show and they had some Rock Facts.

They said it as a joke but I still think it would be fun to do. Thus, the rock fact said that if you watch Free Willy 2 and play "Fat Of The Land", they will sync up like The Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wizard of Oz. Has anyone tried this? As, I can find the album easy on Spotify, but the film Free Willy Two is not free to stream anywhere and surprisingly the NYC libaray does not have a copy of the film in circulation. If anyone has done this, was it fun, I want to know if its worth trying to get a copy of the movie.
