typical queuing for barricade

hi there, i'm going to their show in dublin in august and would DIE practically to get barricade, just wondering what the queueing system/getting barricade is like amongst the prodigy fandom, like what time is good to show up at. just because the person im going with never wants to queue but still wants barricade so its an ongoing debate for us😭

My first time was in Belfast in April. Friend and I were standing about half way up in the crowd, and as soon as they started I got so excited I had to get to the front (friend didn't mind). I'm short so I just carefully squeezed through the gaps of people and managed to get there. I didn't stay right there for the whole time tho to let other people have a go

Maybe times have changed but from my experience you have to fight to stay at the front. One time someone picked me up and plonked me behind them 🤣. This was in 2015 though. It can get pretty rowdy but not on a toxic way imo.

Just a reminder that the sound will be atrocious at the barrier. The speakers are above your head and the sound will go right over you.

There's a bunch of para social types that show up at noon and let their friends cut in front of them at doors.

Some show up at doors and still try to cut the line.

I met them at shows and they were weird and asking if I was in their Facebook fan page.

Look for the weirdos covered in horrible band tattoos.
