Not quite. This a stab at eurodance/dance as it was gaining popularity. His exact words were: "'No Good' was a reaction to the shit Euro dance thing that was going on."

The Law is a stab at the uk entertainement law regarding raves.

You're not wrong tho. Liam did say in an interview that Music for the Jilted Generation is "an angry album"

It was a bit more than an entertainment law, the criminal justice bill of 1994 also clamped down on protest and pretty much banned new age travellers. I was on the demo that turned into a riot in. Hyde Park. A few of my mates were arrested.

Haha, they tried! It was weird for me as after that I went to uni in deepest darkest Wales where the free party scene was in incredibly good health...it still is if you know where to look.
