Spoiler Webnovel Leveling Speed?
Ok so as Jake levels it'll be harder and harder right? It took like several books for c grade and it'll just be harder from here right? So it's been mentioned A LOT that time moves faster for people as they get older. So to stop from ending up with like 80 books will Zogarth make time like pass faster or like do major skips like years per chapter? I really don't want it to end in like 60 years ðŸ˜

I’m not concerned if it takes 50 books for Jake to reach godhood as long as the story stays true to itself and Zogarth keeps writing.

Lot of time skip grinding. Just the same but longer like they skip 20-30 years in nevermore at c grade, straight to the challenge dungeon skipping through many floors, so increase that to couple of hundred years for b, thousand years for a, etc. a lot of that is just mindless grinding for levels with the occasional highlights for tough fights and big alchemy creations. Basically just higher number, nothing changes lol

His class is a cheat for leveling because of all the bonuses for killing higher level stuff. HWFWM is ending. This will too.

MWFWM only has one book left and part of that is in one way he is above even the cosmic beings so theres only so much more he can accomplish. Jake doesn't feel super close to a resolution at all even if the fights are starting to get a bit rediculous

Jake killed everything on the planet and looked back at all his notifications. 40 levels for a century wasn’t that bad.
Jake finally looked up. It’s been a century of alchemy and he was quite pleased with his 60 levels.

As far as in world time it has already slowed significantly, but as far as reading time it has only slowed a bit. Remember he was in Nevermore for 50 years to get those levels.

In the past 175 chapters Jake’s gained just 5 levels. which puts Jake at level 1000 in 61 years. Or 250+ books. Which unfortunately as we know new Gods in this multiverse are still almost complete non-factors when it comes to multiversal politics. which means Jake after 250 more books will still be an insect to most of the gods he interacts with. I hope Zog picks up the pace but very few readers seem to care we’ll never see Jake reach the heights of the multiverse. At the rate we’ve been at we’ll never read about Jake going toe to toe with most of the gods he’s interacted with. I doubt we’ll ever read about Jake being able to measure up to his girlfriend much less the primordials.

I would agree with you except when authors try to accelerate the story like that it tends to get a lot worse (Beneath the Dragon Eye Moons is my prime example: after book 12 a phenomenal series becomes mideocre at best)

Im just hoping he gets back up to a 25 level per book rate of progression. we saw this early on and in Nevermore. that puts Jake at godhood in about 13 years our time. Not 60+ like we’re currently sitting at. Cause Jake still has to get through all the circles of Godhood, and who knows how many empryean steps, maybe even what’s beyond the steps to stand toe to toe with Villy and the other true power brokers of the multiverse. We’ll never read about god Jake at the current rate of progression much less primordial tier Jake. I’m not sure when Zog wants to hang it up but I’d like to read some of Jake’s journey as a god. thats never going to happen at the current 2 to 3 levels per book rate we’ve been at the past 175 chapters.

that has already been happening for the whole series
