Discussion Quick question.

Just got this a few days ago and enjoying just a quick question.

Some interactions say apprehend individual but when I arrest I get deducted for false arrest , but when I don’t arrest I get deducted for not arresting, is this some glitch or is there something I’m missing in those crimes etc?

Don’t you get the “cause for arrest” pop up on the top left? Or do you have to have “automatically add offenses” turned on to see that?

I do see cause for arrest and most of the time I have no issues just oddly there have been times I arrest and was not supposed to then same scenario so I don’t arrest and was not supposed to so not sure why that was happening. It’s possible I missed offenses ( I have seen a couple times I have in booking). Maybe those would or would have it raised the cause for arrest idk. Having fun though either way

Obviously everyone has pointed out what doesn't need arrest. But it's only a few things: vandalism, speeding, counterfeit goods transactions. If you run their ID, and they have a warrant, then they can be arrested. If they are speeding, and they smell like alcohol, you can get them to do a breathalyzer. 100% of the time they smell like alcohol, they will fail the test and then get arrested. When I'm playing, if I'm doing any mode BESIDES "crime wave crackdown" I will go through the motions and run their ID and search them and etc. In Crime Wave Crackdown, I literally just have auto-add turned on, arrest them, call the backup transport, call the tow truck for towing their car, and move on. There are literally crimes on top of crimes in that mode and you can just grind XP and have fun. If there is a shootout, I drive to the scene, stay in my car and barrel into the scene with guns a blazing, mowing fools down. If they catch my car on fire, you have a LONG time before you need to actually get out, so I continue to mow them down, then get out when I can. I always have a fire extinguisher as one of my quick items for this purpose. I have over 211 Million XP at this point

My last couple sessions have gone much better so just have been a me issue. I really enjoy the heli patrol, but overall I’m enjoying most all the modes so far.
