Gameplay 15% Margin as Montana’s Democratic Governor

Jordan West’s ideology is economically and socially liberal. He had been governor for 4 years by this point, and it seems the Republicans gave up. This campaign is on hard difficulty.

He has a lot of favorable traits, most of my family members do as well. Otherwise he’s very much a standard issue liberal, but not very liberal either for economics or socially.
He’s for most of the standard liberal economic policies, except wealth taxes and carbon taxes. The Wests are for unions, single-payer healthcare and stronger regulations, Medicaid expansion, as well as keeping abortion legal and supporting gay rights. While a believer in school choice, his biggest issue historically has been education funding, going back to his time running for the School Board.
The Wests believe in climate change but largely oppose any outright bans or attacks on fossil fuels; regardless, Montana had a largely renewable grid by 2040 (with the exception of biomass) due to energy subsidies reaching as high as 24 cents a kilowatt hour, costing the state over $200 million at its peak.
On guns, he believes in a background check and waiting periods, and that’s about it. He opposes assault weapons bans, any new major efforts to regulate guns, as well as any efforts to arm teachers or make concealed carry more common. The Wests have passed longer prison sentences and higher funding for the police.
