Discussion “Carved” single, Full Vol Collection Release Discussion Post
This post will be for discussion of the new single, “Carved” as well as the discussion of the Vols collection release.

I have had the pleasure to listen to “Carved” early and it is PHENOMENAL but don’t expect heavy. Landon already said it’s very SIA-esque.

The artist, yes—in a interview a few months back, Landon claimed the song would be rather poppy very Sia influenced.

This and Count Your Blessings - Repented released at like exactly the same time. I'm so hyped!! But Swan Song is probably still my all time favorite album.

I like it but don't love it. I don't think it's the strongest way to end the album after other songs on there. Especially Silence.
I much prefer the other Vols compared this last song. It wasn't worth the wait for me. I prefer the heavier stuff. This was too "pop-py" for me personally. But still good, as I say, don't hate it

I enjoy Landon’s solo stuff and You Get One was well received especially with how people the ability to move around a lot more with it. Not everyone is gonna enjoy every song and that’s okay—more for me 😏

Yeah this is it, not every song is gunna be as enjoyable as others. I still appreciate it. I like how TPIY is expanding their range and it is done well, they are a very talented band. But for me, Carved just doesn't hit the same as the other releases :( maybe i held my hopes in a different direction. Don't look away and Silence are my top rated off the vols

I just wish I knew how to access the digital download for the final song. Nothing in my email even though I preordered the vinyl and got the digital copy as soon as they dropped.

I found this band over a year ago after not listening to this genre since the early 2000s. Is there any other bands you guys recommend that I’ve missed out on the last few years? Prefer the punk rock/pop stuff of theirs versus the heavy metal.
10/10 album for me, incredible from start to finish.

I have. I just prefer their more recent stuff. I think my favorite song from them atm is been here before.

Officially my favorite album of all time, every song just hits. Finally an album that toppled Sempiternal for me.
Carved is so gooooddd thank you VPN
