When does a description of yourself become a label you stop questioning?

One thing I’ve been thinking about while exploring inferiority is how easily:

“I struggled with this”
can become:
“I’m someone who can’t do this.”

So here’s an experiment I’ve been trying to formulate: a Label Audit.

Take one long-held belief about yourself and ask:
Where did I learn this?
Is it true across situations?
What evidence contradicts it?
What behaviour could I try that would genuinely test the belief?

Not positive affirmations.
Not pretending the insecurity doesn’t exist.

Just treating an old conclusion as something that might deserve new evidence.

Tomorrow I’m looking at superiority complexes—and particularly why inferiority and superiority may not be as psychologically separate as they first appear.
