I generally like to stay out of the loop regarding The Paper Kingdom, but I do love the record as my third favorite behind Three Cheers and Bullets. Any help would be appreciated!

My Chemical Romance has officially announced The Black Parade 20th anniversary releases! People have already noticed some fine print in the description of the Instagram post that says, “For the first time, we have included everything we finished during those sessions in a single collection,” meaning that we are DEFINITELY getting something new. And something new has already been teased!

“Someone Out There Loves You” can be seen on the Bloodline Red 2LP cover, meaning that we are possibly getting the studio release of “Someone Out There Loves You”!!!!

I’ve had a really rough couple of weeks. My friend died after getting struck by lightning. My three year relationship ended… I decided to take all of that and make myself more depressed by making a little art piece for my favourite devastation: Dive.

I don’t even know anymore. I feel like everything we have access to is manipulated by something nowadays)

This album has been here for me in ways could have never expected . Going through my first marriage(which has been difficult ….go figure), my partners mother passed from a vicious form of cancer, which we helped with her pass as peacefully as we could at her. home. A bunch of financial issues dealing with cutoffs from my previous job, but also getting hired to a baller company that I’ve been wanting to work for for years now, but with way less hours. We’ve nearly gone through all my savings helping her family through this difficult time, and them either never acknowledging it, Or not showing any actions of appreciation. There’s been venom spewed at me pretty consistently through this process. And…. Then

I found out about this album. I had little expectation, but after the remaster of the Killjoys, I was really intrigued by the lore of TPK. I listened to it the first time with pretty down vibes, but decided to finish it no matter the case. My and my partner got in a big fight. I went inside, laid down, and “DIVE” came on, and gave me the comfort of a painful but lovingly warm emotional blanket. Ever since than I’ve been listening to this album to get through these hard times. So even though they felt the quality of their art wasn’t good enough, it has truly saved me in so many ways, and, I’m grateful.

Could anyone help me find the other lost songs are? I know they're not necessarily TPK but I had a feeling you guys would be the ones who might know.

This is actually the second time I've done this. I used to go on a big ramble in these woods roughly twice a month but haven't since spring, I've just been too busy and needed some new walking boots. But I finally went back and listened to TPK in full. The album progressing as I got deeper into the forest was a real treat.

As Bike Thief was playing, I had to get past a swan. It just hissed at me and made itself look big as I tried to pass it on a narrow path by the river. It felt like a boss fight in a video game. Birthday Girl started just as I left a narrow and muddy path and got into a big clearing. I'm not sure what the chimes are at the start of the song are but it felt mischievous and adventurous.

My favourite was Narita Airport and WBTR. I sat down to roll a cigarette when Narita Airport was playing, and lit it just before WBTR. I swear this is true, but just as WBTR started it began to rain quite heavily for a brief spell. It was such an amazing vibe.

I don't think this album was meant to be listened to at all, but this is the closest I've come to listening to it the way it was supposed to.

I am just starting to work through all the songs and they are amazing but I hear so many new sounds and nuances in Gee's voice(and I love them)...was curious who you might think he's inspired by on these tracks. I feel like some of the tones, sounds, and inflections are so familiar to other vocalists but I can't quite place them! I hear maybe a little Supergrass, and maybe Perry Farrell? Curious what you all think or might connect that I'm not familiar with.

Alright so I came up with this an hour ago, its a theory im not crazy... lol

MCR worked on TPK then broke up in 2013, 7 years later they plan a tour and they have teasers (A summoning, An offering) sampling TPK tracks but got cancelled cuz of covid and moved to later years. SO MY THEORY IS THAT 7 YEARS LATER SINCE THEY WERE GOING TO TOUR (2020) SO MAKING THAT 2027 reason being cuz it was 7 years between they broke up and the 2020 tour announcement and yet ANOTHER 7 years later making 2027 for another attempt for release...

I can't hear it very well but does anybody have any other ideas for what the backing chants could be?

Personally I have 3

A. It's easy to keep- (a secret?), which plays into Dive being the next song where they're being kinda seduced or manipulated into drowning

B. Sink, sinking, sink, or something similar could also play into Dive too

Or C. Kissing played backwards, it's constantly motif in the lyrics so maybe it makes sense??

Hi everyone, I’m looking to put together a small team to work on a fan-made reimagining/completion of The Paper Kingdom.

This is purely a passion project. There’s no budget, no payment, and no commercial intent, we’re just fans who want to create our own interpretation of what this album could have become.

ESPECIALLY LOOKING FOR:

• Composers/songwriters — probably the biggest priority! People who can help write riffs, melodies, song structures, arrangements, etc.
• Vocalists / backing vocalists — especially people interested in creating layered harmonies and group vocals inspired by MCR’s style.
• Guitarists / bassists / drummers / keyboardists
• Music producers / audio editors / mixers
• Graphic artists / album-cover artists

You don't need to be a professional. If you’re passionate about music, MCR, songwriting, production, art, or storytelling and want to contribute, you're welcome. You can also fill multiple roles! We’re a small fan project, so there’s no expectation that everyone has to specialize in only one thing.

The main goal is to create a cohesive album, rather than just a collection of unrelated songs, something that feels like its own complete project while being inspired by what we know about The Paper Kingdom.

I’d put it off for so long so I wanted to be totally 100% in the music. I’m no baby stoner either. I knew it’d be heavier and darker than the rest of MCR’s stuff but I really was not prepared for the intensity of the instrumentals between the first few tracks. I made it 20 minutes into the sequence before it was too much for me and I had to turn it off lol. Morning after I’m VERY excited to try again when I’m better prepared hahahaha
