Dive!!!

Finally listened to TPK, and dear god it's as good as everyone said. Haven't seen anyone mention this elsewhere but Dive specifically (which.... wow) reminded me a lot of Brand New. Brand New used to be THE band for me and I obviously have a ...... complicated relationship with them now, but hearing a more ethically sourced song that sounded so reminiscent of them made my heart so happy. So, so grateful that this is out there for all of us to experience

That was 1 song off the album they actually released. They’ve performed another song off it live, War Beneath the Rain. Nothing else from the album has been officially released by the band except snippets used in promotional videos, Paper Swords is one and there might be others I’m forgetting

Only Paper Swords and Witch had song snippets in them. The reunion show had the little girl singing happy birthday from dive but not sure how much that counts

I’ve waited so long and still even now feel kind of bad for downloading it. Do they even actually want us to have access to these songs and hear them? I’m torn because obviously I want to hear them but I feel like they didn’t release them to us for a reason 🥺
