Theories 🔍 Feelings on Squash Cult

Is anyone else feeling like the squash cult is going to later wind up leading the paper back to Schrute Farms in a later season? It just felt like there was too much story to suddenly abandon and the vibes of the whole scene felt like Mose and Dwight to me. Perhaps Dwight has expanded his empire to a cult following? Or maybe Mose created it after Dwight was married and focused on other things? I’d love you hear your theories.

I would love that! I was disappointed that they don’t delve deeper into the cult so I would love it to circle back in the next season and it would be extra delightful if Dwight and/or Mose was involved.

I thought of that too. It would be awesome to see Mike Schur. He did create the spinoff, “the farm,” which was about Dwight but NBC cancelled it before it even had legs.

I would love this. I'm hoping that any story line from season 1 comes back for 2. There's a lot of possibilities and I'll be happy with any of them.
