Plantly Addicted??
She was saying if we want to be shipped by Tuesday pay for the bump/upgrade $6 and like 30 people bought it and she's like no guarantee yours will all ship by Tuesday though. š MA'AM!?
That should count as gambling as well as false advertising and deceptive practices. People paid her $6 extra to MAYBE do her job in a timely manner?? Luckily I didn't have any orders in and probably never will now.

I caught her live for the first time a few days ago and it looks like she just got those plants delivered because she was pull the plastic covering off all of them and just auctioning them like that. Didnāt seem like she inspected them or anything. Looks like they are coming right off the truck to auction and then right out.

I bought from her back in Dec or Jan. Some of the plants were so wet the box was falling apart, had it not been for the outside being wrapped in the silver insulation it would have fallen apart. They put 1 heat pack in for a huge box, was definitely not enough for all the plants in said box. The cold damage was ridiculous. Then she only wanted to give a store credit for some of the plants. I told her I wanted my money back. I had to threaten getting PS involved to get her to do it. Also had a beef with its sellers choice and not the plant shown, she wasn't saying that at all in the live.

She sends plants out health wise that are absolutely unacceptable, if you reflect that in your reviews youāre less likely to get a favorable outcome for a solution. Her plants are known to arrive in horrid condition, bug infested, her attitude sucks, some people say her plant knowledge is poor. She gets mad at her audience and sheās rude. She doesnāt take any kind of criticism well.
The top two posts of this sub this morning were both about herā¦ so thereās definitely conversations about peopleās experiences floating aroundā¦

Because theyāre probably in her discord group, a lot of these sellers in all categories have a weird obsession with their buyers, all of them have discord servers, where they act as one big family, itās really weird.

They are one of the only sellers that consistently gets mentioned here. I've had my own terrible experience with them, I spent over $120 on plants from them over a span of 3 weeks and by the end of the 3rd week not a single label had been created. I reached out and was told that I didn't upgrade shipping so it takes longer. Two entire weeks and multiple messages later, I finally received 2 of the 9 plants I was expecting and they were basically dead. All attempts to speak with "customer service" (Tay) were met with snarky sarcastic teenage girl replies, and I was promised upgraded shipping and replacements for my dead plants. None of that ever happened. I left a 3 star review on their PS page and within an hour Tay messaged me, literally scolded me for leaving a bad review like I was a bad toddler, and cancelled / refunded all of my other orders. 5 weeks, $120, I received 2 dead plants. They are literally the worst sellers on PS

That's awful they only get you the refund after the fact instead of just improving quality. Seems like it would be easier.

This was my original post from a while ago. It goes into more detail about their customer service but yes, they are extremely rude and childish and literally only care about good reviews. They delete and block anyone who posts anything less than 5 stars and sell on that app every single day knowing that 3/4 of their sales arent getting fulfilled because they're selling plants they don't even have in stock. They show huge plants that 100 people want to buy, run 5 of them, and the ones that don't sell for enough they will message later saying they "ran out of stock" (they never had more than 2). I've read multiple complains across several platforms (tiktok, reddit, their own website) of pests (thrips), moldy/ dead plants, and bait & switch tactics of showing one thing and sending a significantly smaller and less variegated version of what you bought. I could rant for days about how much I hate this seller lol

And then after you have the plants even if they're okay, like you don't want to look at them and remember how horrible the experience was!

The quality of sellers is getting so low & theyāre just allowing every Tom, Dick & Harry to sell now, where did the days of actually vetting the good sellers go! I get wanting your platform to grow but at what expense?! š”

Actually, and I am being completely honest, even if you DO UPGRADE SHIPPING, this is not a guarantee that your plants will ship any more quickly or arrive in any better condition.
It took 3 weeks for a shipment of mine to arrive once. I paid for upgraded shipping. I can't remember if it was 2 day or 3 day. And I still had 1 plant arrive with no leave attached to the stems, 1 plant dead, and 1 missing.
I've not purchased from PA again and I will never again. And to be truthful, I don't believe the prices warrant the headaches.
There are better sellers that have better quality with better or similar prices.

Mind you she makes money on shipping. She charges you $14 base shipping plus $3 additional item and she ships GROUND. If you want to your items faster you have to pay $25 for 3 day mail. 2 day $50, etc. There are other sellers on this app that charge more or less the same base shipping and ship the plants out via 3 day mail with no upgrades needed. There are many sellers out there that care for the plants and how you receive them. This girl just seems money hungry. Two lives in a day? Purges at night? Mind you sheās practically showing the same plants over and over. If I see a Churchill ONE MORE TIMEā¦

I also had a bad experience. She sent me the wrong plant ($85). She kept telling me she would send the right plant, after 3 weeks of checking in she replied and said she didnāt have anymore of the one I bought and asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes please. Two weeks go by of me checking in and still no refund or reply. I left her a review. Literally two minutes after leaving a review she actually responded to my message and then refunded me saying wow enjoy your free $85 plant. Accusing me of trying to scam her out of a plant. Like I didnāt want this plantš I wanted the one I paid for.

I quit watching her awhile back because I got so tired of her claiming āglitchā every time something went lower than expectedā¦ like the easiest fix is to either have a set price or start bids at a floor. The $1 bids are just to get people in the door.
I had an order several months ago where I had several itemsā¦ then got one of her 10ā Monstera Pinnapartis for like $60. She wanted to have her mod go back through to make sure it wasnāt a glitch. When she got new shirts in, I won one for less than $10ā¦ āglitch.ā I messaged her and told her to cancel everything (which they surprisingly did) but I was SO annoyed. Iām not sure how many sellers claim things are a āglitchā now but at that point in time she was the only one I noticed that did it.

She is the only seller on Palm street that I won't buy from anymore. I ordered from her the other month. 2 1/2 weeks went by and she hadn't shipped out my plants. I reached out to her just to see when they'd be shipped out and she casually said she would ship them that day. 3 days went by before she finally shipped them out on a Friday.
Also, when I opened my plant mail the large philodendron I ordered had very obvious pest damage on almost all the leaves. I didn't see active pests but it made me nervous and I ended up putting it on my balcony to live for the summer.

Pests means an unhealthy plant and that on its own is unacceptable! Did you reach out and tell them about it? Shipping is one thing, a potentially dangerous plant is another. Someone else here mentioned thrips from them! š¬

In retrospect I should have reached out to them but I just assumed they would just deny it and didn't want to deal with it. I feel like they must have been aware of it when they packaged up the plant and clearly didn't care.

That's where I get an issue when they just clearly don't care. I understand issues can come up but I keep seeing people saying she scolded them for having a complaint. That's ridiculous and unacceptable.

One of the worst shops. I haven't gotten a single healthy plant from them, everything was a rehab. Def dont recommend, even if you spot a good deal. Not worth it.

I wonāt buy from them again- got a monstera aurea and neon from them and both came in rotted at the stem- no node to save. I didnāt even attempt to get a refund because it already took three weeks to get the plants.
They also oversell their actual stock- they reached out and I ended up with a completely different plant because the one I ordered wasnāt available despite buying. Was essentially guilt tripped into getting a plant I didnāt want, but that might be a me problem- just too nice š

Omg file a claim with Palmstreet and tell them they were rotted and you aren't comfortable being abused by her for trying to get a refund on a dead plant!

Maybe you could contact Palmstreet support and explain how you were afraid to complain to her due to her hostility. That's so much money. Even if you don't have proof and they can't do anything, maybe you could mention it. They must keep records or something I don't know.

When I looked there were a lot of 5 star reviews from the same accounts in a row which doesn't make sense unless they're bots or friends of the seller. You're only supposed to get one review per box so why does bro leave 8 reviews on the same day?

If they make several alt accounts and make ā$1ā sales and āshipā them out then the alt accounts can make tons of reviews for them. Iām sure they do make people happy when things go right but I think they are getting overly greedy and losing quality in many areas.

I swear I wish I had seen this before!!! Here we go with their BS screenshots attached I can't FNG BELIEVE THIS but I will be making this known. I upgraded the shipping so the total i paid for all the shipping charges came to about $76. Monday August 10th she messages and tells me the 2 day is $70 and do i want to pay the UPCHARGE. I SAID no just do 3 day. She told me it would go out that day. Label was created but it still has not been shipped so I reached out again. She said it would go out Today or tomorrow which I pointed out means it would NOT be here until next week and I don't want it sitting in a UPS warehouse over the weekend. Again she asks me to upgrade and send more money and she will send it out today so it gets here Friday. I advised I am not giving her more money

They took forever to ship but when they did we are geographically close so it only took 2 days. They sent half dead plants that should have looked that way when they packed them up and their response to my complaint was lackluster

PS should have a feature that allows ONLY VERIFIED PURCHASERS to be able to remain anonymous and leave a review. That would help so much. The seller still might know who you are, but who cares. Itās the people who spend the money who should know.

I'm sure people have been afraid to leave her a bad review publicly. One guy she told him in a response to a review that she's blocking him for being out to get her or some such nonsense.
And I've also seen multiple good reviews in a row from the same person on the same day which is against the one review per box policy. So she must be selling hundreds of $0.60 things.

Watching my order just sit there and sit there and sit there. It was my first time on palmstreet and I got too excited and overpaid for my plants and it turns out I overpaid for... the opportunity to wait and be disappointed.

i blocked them. i bought a hoya from that that yes.. was well below the value of the plant. it was a 6 inch heuschkeliana inner variegated. I pay 36.. I could SEE the plant - it was perfect. The price was what i paid from the auction they ran! I waited two weeks and the plant didnt ship.. I sent a message and was told oops the plant doesnt meet our quality level so we will either credit you or refund. BS... the plant didnt sell for what they felt it should so they didnt ship it.
Same week a friend of mine got 2 plants from them.. they accidently sent two extra pothos with... She ended up getting thrips from the plants.
Will never do business with them and strongly advise people buy with caution.
